Difference in skill gains between EU1 and NA1?

I hear some people say that there are and some people say that there arent. For example: some people think that leveling up magic in NA1 is faster.

I did a little test with 1h swords starting at 14.7 skill and hit for 100 times. On both servers, it ended up at 16.0 skill. Spells might be different. Anyone got facts?

NA-1 has all the changes that have been put in since EU's launch Comparatively this "launch" is a faster grind but more expensive (not so for magic however) NA launch has faster skill gains than EU's did BUT it does not have starter weapon gains or invulnerable shield gains and especially not the ability to raise spells and archery with no valid target

At the current stage the servers skill gains are exactly the same

Any differences seen or perceived could be due to comparing the launches as the mechanics for Darkfall's grind have been changed combined with the fact that people are focusing on entirely different things to start with

I think a lot of people who think NA-1 is magically faster are people who played EU-1 from launch for about a month and quit. If you compare NA-1 with EU-1 at launch then yeah NA-1 is faster, but they are the same exact game right now.

Thing is alot of people got deep into stuff the ROUGH way... So when it was tweaked they didnt see it all that much.

NA is starting from scratch, so we get to see how much easier the earlier gains are.

And, multiple people, in my guild and in other guilds - have 50 elemental magic already. Skill gains are increased, and we know what to do.

Not sure if this was a troll, or just one of those "bright smarted" EU guys trying to diss NA, either way. Fail.
