Advice to NA clans [Archive]

Clans currently on NA1 should not put too much effort into city building. From playing on both servers it is clear that EU1 players are more skilful than NA1 players. That is, EU players tend to have higher player skill (not just character skill). The transferring EU players will also have way superior character skill as well. The combination of both better player and character skill means that the NA server is going to have a new arse torn for it when the transfers happen. I don't think some current NA1 players/clans fully realise just how badly they are going to be smashed when transfers happen. NA1 clans that are not aligned to transferring EU1 clans will loose their holdings. 100% guaranteed.

lol there's quite a few skilled EU players. Point conceded.

There's also players like you most likely that just happen to play on EU and think you're cool by association.

Accept for the fact they made skill gains x 10 faster on NA1... Amiright? :) People are closing in on upper 70 Elemental magics... Good luck trying to flaunt superiority in a month or two when we all have weapon masteries and magic skills to 100 just like you guys :)

Plus I'll transfer my EU-1 Character over just for spite.

I agree.

I also agree with the argument that building up cities on NA-1 is ridiculous. But talking like you have a 14' cock because you're playing with a 200 ping.. lol. Our skills are where EU's average was at the 2-3 month mark, and we've been live for maybe 2-3 weeks.

you're looking at the majority of the server hitting 75 in either wepon or archery, or hitting elemental at this point.

NA also has a lot of new players so it seems that everyone is a noob.

As for EU having super skills when xfer happens I doubt it. In 3 weeks I've done more on my character then I did in 2 months on EU. Skill gain is cranked WAY UP for NA. In 3 months NA will have better toons then EU...

Being an ex-Insomniax member makes me qualified to know what I'm talking about. We were mostly casual players who got our shit kicked in by everyone from LoD to the Goons.

In the OP I'm not saying "I'm better because I played on EU" (my personal skill level is somewhere between below average and scrub). What I am saying is that it's become fairly clear, from playing on NA, that some clans are going to get a very harsh wake up call. Player skill tends to be much higher on EU than NA. NA only clans without EU links are deluding themselves if they think they'll keep their holdings after the transfers.

NA left all the shitty players back on EU.

unfortunatly most are clan/alliance members that will wanna rejoin us when transfers go live.

NA still welcomes EU to join us in our clans/alliances, but you are still gunna suck no-matter what server you play.
