Zealot Alliance

[Rhade]

We're pleased to announce a new alliance, currently located in central Agon. We intend on staying relatively politically neutral, and offering our services to general public for a price. We're by no means large, as we recruit quality over quantity in our members, and in our resident clans. However, this doesn't stop us from taking care of those who outnumber us by large margins on a regular basis.
The Zealot Alliance consists of:

Black Shields
Angels of Death
Industrial Strength

And "Goddamn Fire Dragon" as a crafter/alt guild for the 3 of us.

Because every Zealot is worth three Zerglings.

I can't recall a time where our group's been defeated like you describe except a suicide mission to Cairn with a 6 vs 20 or so to finish the event.

By raped I'm imagining we get bored of killing nakeds rushing off a bindstone and you spam mana missles with your buddies at us as we ride off while congratulating each other in vent for "driving us out".

The first few days of the server we came to Ottenhal and you guys came out to push us away. We must have got over 15 or so ganks with about 6 of us tops. By the time we killed the last few the first couple to go down were already back naked trying to get their gear off their stones. After everyone died we rested up expecting more to come but the next attack didn't come so we rode off looking elsewhere.

the thing is in the first couple days of the game we had around 20 people (total) in Apollo, some of which were still in their starting areas. So i don;t know if it was really 15. 10ish maybe (although if the rest of your story is correct thats till puts us at roughly 2:1).



Some notes on what you guys seem to be doing:

We have taken on quite a few new players who just got the game for the first time (prolly half our roster). We are teaching them and things are going along fine, but it means we will lose as we progress. Especially to clans pre-made of skilled pvpers from EU (like yours).

You emphasize personal skill in your recruitment, we emphasize a good community spirit, with a willingness to learn and improve in pvp.


It's just different philosophies.



So far you have been fun opponents with good "sportsmanship" if I may call it that, but you are starting to veer down the path of TheMecrs with your forum posts. Just don't go down the path afghanistan alliance went on EU and declare yourself the best alliance evar because you have won more encounters than other clans/alliances or you beat some casual gamers who outnumbered you. The best clans/alliances to be in are not necessarily the power-gaming ones.

The 25+ v 10 was just indicitive of the average engagement we get into. Not you guys. It's an average ratio, and I was talking about how we win these on a pretty frequent basis, yet never make any mention of it or fraps to "play nice", yet when we talk about it later people always try to deny it. i believe it was about a week ago. it was a mix of lod and apollo. there was a group + some. i asked ghostface and he told me about 15. That was the biggest fight we have had.

The best fight was at our hamlet when we had that 7v7 or 8v8 not sure which. On the mountain slope. good times

Personally, I like the path of not really saying much other than good fight, maybe a hint of the way the battle went by throwing in a "Thanks for the 3 sets of gear!" but not much else.

People will always have different beliefs on how many guys were at each fight, and both sides know that they ARE right... So in the end it doesnt really help much to argue about numbers, it just causes turmoil and needless e-peen comparison.

Also, personally, I like alot of guys from Apollo, and would rather not get on 'bad terms' with them on arguing numbers.

Weve had some good fights, been outnumbered on a few, and been even on a few, nonetheless 'they have given me a few sets of gear ;)' but Id definitely say they are on the upside of the opponents we encounter.

BS was the only good fight in the center of Agon for the first 2 weeks. I know for a fact the numbers were never imbalanced (outside of ottenhal, which was ungeared players mostly anyway).. Which made it all the more fun. I like alot of their guys and actually had plenty of "good fight" moments with them.

Very good PvPers in BS, the rest of the Zealot im on the fence about however. Good luck and have fun.

BS is a good solid pvp guild. They come to our city frequently and anytime we have a fair fight (aka we have enough people active and with gear or we dont have 5 more than them) it always ends up pretty even with casualties on both sides.

Despite what people may say i think zerg is the best late-game. defilers are OP. defilers + frenzy lings = lulz. not always the best tactic but one of the funnest.


although a good toss with templars can be a bitch. its all about micro at that point.
