I suggested it several times before and will suggest it again.

Crafting better items should get a much higher skillgain than lower rank items.
I don't get it, why someone, who can craft studded armor still has to craft cloth armguards to raise his skill.

I would go on and stop skillgain at a certain level. After reaching skill75 you shouldn't be able to gain skill with making items you could craft at skill0-25.

To craft thousands of items only to sell them at the vendor is ridiculous.

Increasing the skillgain would also force people to farm the better mobs to get the mats needed for crafting better rank items.
Instead of killing trolls to get cloth for the armguards people would have to farm golems or other mobs to get rare metals or reagents for crafting staffs.

Ya its pretty silly that the best way to grind a skill is to make the cheapest thing there is over and over and over....u get the idea

I also think this would help getting rid of the grind people are complaining about.
You wouldn't have to farm two thousand orc acolyths to get enough hearts for crafting dark hearts, you wouldn't have to mine the whole day to craft r0 axes/swords.
You only would have to farm the few mats you need for crafting the items you need.

I would enjoy skilling while crafting the things i actually use.

A much needed change. :)

I really don't reallly understand, why AV didn't do this since release.
It shouldn't really be a big problem to implement and will add a lot more fun with crafting for many people.
