you know, it really needs to be said.
for the most part when you scarebears come to our city, you've been coming at least 15 people, 6-8 people are usually the number of you who safely run away.
also, you wreck the hell out of us for the first 15-20 minutes before we rally up, because before then we arent expecting you really...how could we be?

lastly, if you attack our city why the hell wouldnt every active person show up? noobs run naked, semi experienced run slightly armored, I personally show up in bone and then leather every time I die up to 2 deaths.
unless of course I plan to flank you just to kill your mount and piss you off :)

and yeah, the war is one of those "why not" reasons. we're already attacking the hell out of each other anyway. I personally don't like the alignment hits.

large raiding parties have generally stopped.
they mainly existed:
1)rafting is fun
2) we needed players to gain skill in listening to commands, maintaining radio silence, and generally moving in squads


when we got ambushed on cairn, we were actually just pveing, and we had to move the way we were being lured anyway. we wanted to hit a city before we logged and it was that direction...
yassam, we hit up 2 cities before falling.
the first barely had people, sadness.
the second they were ready, so they were all naked mana missiling us, yeah like that was real fun.
when our 20 man group got ridden over by 30 mounts, we all died, but it was fun and a lot of damage was done.
we all knew we were gonna get ambushed, so we went for the fun of it.
literally armor=easy weapons=mob drop there were few mounts. all in all everyone lost maybe an hour of work.


I want to also explain what probably happened with apollo.
when they attacked with 8 geared up guys, it was 5 in the morning and we had 4-5 active people. it was rare for that time, but it was the sad truth.
no one of real rank ever told them we were going to hammer them. for all I know no one in our clan did either. but it's possible some stupid noob did.
what did also happen was they talked about how they rolled over our 20 people zerg in messages to us, talking all badass. if they count the people afk on the bloodwall I guess they were right. I'm sure they were a challenge to people from apollo.

I don't recall ever being number struck... Generally it is groups coming to our city and then hanging on the perimeter until we jump wall and give chase. Whoever is talking shit about the hammers PM I want to know who it was.
