Just curious what the skill progression is like on NA1 thus far. Has anyone seen any users shooting elemental spells?

There are lots of ppl with elementals already. I killed an Orc trying to gank noobs with AA outside of HoE.

Interesting. I only bring this up because AV will look at this data when deciding how to limit NA1 transfers over. If people have elemental already, 1 week in, in 3 months---shrug.

about 3-4 days in someone i know had 40 GM so yeah people definetely have elemenal...

There are actually several people in elemental already im close and I havent been macroing it. Skill gain atleast low end seems faster but dont let av know that so they can nerf it.

im not grinding and i am about to hit elemental.

alot of people dont understand that we will be playing this game on this server for a long time, hence no real immediate hurry to get leveled up.

have fun dont burn yourself out.

you can definitely have 100 elemental and probably 50 necro/arcane by the time transfers occur

You will want to hurry up by the time transfers come.... NA and EU server members are already at each others throats. When the built up EU characters show up, there is the potential for quite the massacre.

its been 10 days.... im not worried about 3 month EU guys.

i held my own on EU with 60 poles (no mastery) 90 archery and only needles... im not worried.

It's not about 5 v 5. Its about sieges.

The true power of AoE's aren't reached until you have enough people with them on your side for one volley to instagib a large area.

One side has 25+ people with Elemental AoE's. The other side doesn't.

Which one gets roflstomped?

I got 78 Fire, 32 Earth, 56 Air, 61 Water, 100 Witchcraft, 86 Necro. My LM is only 45 thoug. :rolleyes:

Two noob alfar tried ganking me by focus firing needles, fire and earth magic on me last night. Too bad their aim sucked :rolleyes:

Everyones doing it wrong. Everyone should have banded together and not gotten anything higher than MM so when transfers come EU characters get nerfed into the ground and hilarity ensues.

Instead everyone is rushing elementals so EU chars won't get touched.

There is more to it than if people have Elemental and what level it is.

On EU release people macroed LM using a newbie staff firing in to the air and at their feet, so you have a ton of players on EU with 99 LM and a ton of Intelligence, in addition to what elemental they may have.

So when the time comes to measure the skill/stat curve on NA, compared to EU, it's not just about X, but A through Z.

In the end, I wouldn't be too concerned as a EU player. I mean really, what's the big deal any way, so long as you transfer in a competitive state to the NA population?

funny the difference between the servers...

on EU everyone went archery at first because of the ease/cheapness of levelling compared to magic, not thinking magic would be good later, there were tons of "buff magic" threads.

now on NA people went straight into the magic grind (yes, AV did make skill gains easier too, helping this), i'm barely seeing anyone with arrows. i'm getting jumped by groups of people with edritch sphere instead of arrows now :)

I had fire magic at the end of the 2nd day into NA-1 and I know I wasn't the first people had higher GM then me when we were linking them in RA, but I was the first I saw link Fire magic or any elemental magic on RA, but I'm also not on all the time either.

I would love to see a screenshot of this Sir Liesalot.. btw dont u need 50 lm to get GM which u need 25 GM for witchcraft/SC and 50 GM for Earth/Fire/Air/Water. hhmmm
