Hamlets on NA-1

Are there still a bunch of hamlets that are unclaimed?

There are still unclaimed cities as well. Most of the good real estate appears to have been taken by now though.

i know the hamlet above ottenhal in central agon is still open.

Yssam is all claimed now. Last hamlet taken late last night I think.

Ruby is pretty much unclaimed... only ONE city taken a couple days ago, unless something has developed in the last 24-48 hours.

Did some scouting around north west ice land and saw a bunch of unclaimed hamlets and cities the other day. Could be because its a barren wasteland but hey atleast nobody would want to take your town.

I think every1 is wisening up to a couple of facts:

1.) Cities are an epic drain
2.) Hamlets are hard to defend and dont get a lot
3.) In three months - drama day will occur and all their hard work will be getting seiged by EU transfers :)

Even with all the exploiting and duping on eu there is not one finished city to this day I believe.

Lot's of people already have elemental magic. Some are even at 50.

Plenty already have ignore pain.

Melee + bow masteries take 2-4 days each.


Even without any further changes to skill caps/character progression, the gap between properly managed NA toons, and EU transfers isn't going to be as big as people think.


By the time EU toons come over, the newb players and guilds that don't know how to skill up right will have already been worked over by those that do, and those that do will be ready and waiting for EU.

It isn't bad. I had some good fights when I looped around agon. People were geared in banded to plate. I wouldn't say thats bad after the first week.

There's at least a dozen(possibly more) cities on EU that are finished save for the foundary/wonder/shipyard. Which all have limited uses and are either major resource sinks for litle benefit or simply can be used at the other cities that have them up.

and if the server wasn't a barren wasteland you'd actually have huge griefer problems in the red city you live out of. But as i hear it, everything is quite and peaceful.

Ain't complainin that I can get me training done in relative safety of tha city. We get plenty of fightin by takin it to the lubbers' front doors. Ya aint even settin sail in 'ese parts so why are ya openin yer porthole?

Most people realized controlling hamlets and cities are meant for zergs and don't want to join huge alliances so they have to worry who they can pk or not.

You can do everything you could in a hamlet in a npc or chaos city.....

Also everyone is grinding right now so the e-thuggery hasn't picked up yet, unlike everyone on EU-1 we have to prepare to fight characters with 5 more months play time on them :P

It's ok.

Had apollo raid the UDA hamlet in elf lands with 4 guys thinking they were tough jacking up naked guys. Took all 4 down to half life with nothing but manamissile pointblank skillz + their own friendly fire. Was lulz.
