Lucifer smiled as the young berzerker fell down, although the thief didn't give him much time to celebrate. Even though Lucifer had tried to dodge the blade by leaping to his left, the dagger still made a deep cut on his right arm. Yet Lucifer continued to smile.

"Why do you even bother? Just let me take the dwarf, you've no need for him. Besides, if you don't, you'll wind up like your friend." Putting his right hand on the wound Shanks had left on his left arm, he pushed the splintered bone back together, and struggled to not show the pain. Then he prepared a spell to 'heal' his wounds. "This is gonna hurt..." Electricity courses through his body, and burns the wounds so no more blood could get out. When he finally finished, he collapsed to his knees. "On second thought, you don't have mercy do you?"

Shanks took his opportunity. Both of Lucifer's hands were occupied with Kyron, and the thief was struggling, presenting more problems for the assailant.

Wasting no time Shanks slashed hard at the back of Lucifer's neck.
The action was swift and should it succeed Shanks would pursue the assault with a heavy kick to the midsection to dislodge Lucifer from his position atop Kyron.

Twed was flying towards Shanks when he saw the display come from the Queen. That could only have come from the dwarf, he thought.

Twed shifted in mid-flight and flew towards the Queen, he landed on the yard of the lower sail on the main mast. I will wait here, near the dwarf, as the chaos unfolds itself.

OOC: Real life has kept me busy. Alot has played out since my last post so I figured it would be best for Twed to have just been watching from above.

Ray watched as the Alfar turned away and then spiraled back with a punch toward Ray's face. Ray hadn't let his guard down and flicked another noncommittal swipe at the Alfar's hand, keeping his arm within a foot of his own body.

IC: Lucifer would have liked to have finished off the thief, so as to turn all of his attention on the captain, but Shanks had decided to interfere. Lucifer rolled to his side, although the blade still left a cut on his shoulder. Gettibg up and facing the enemy captain, Lucifer unsheathed his rapier. Moving backwards a little he bowed and said, "I never gave you my proper name. Its Lucifer, ex-member of the Royal Guard of Mercia. So, now you know who has just outsmarted you." Turning around, he kicked open the door leading to where the strange light was coming from. "The idiots didn't even see that we had switched places." Running down the short hallway, he saw an open doorway, and rushed in. "Lets hope Durrin is in here..."

OOC: ok, you said swing, so i assumed it was another punch..

Ray quickly parried the slash wide to the left with his own blade, lunging forward at the Alfar.
Rather than throwing a punch as the Alfar had tried before, Ray bulled into the slightly smaller creature, wrapping both arms around it and trying to pin it down while keeping the dagger arm forced away from his body.

[Delusive]

Delusive opened his eyes slowly. His head was throbbing and every muscle in his body felt like it had been pushed to their limits.

Delusive was lying on the deck face down, and his head lay in a small pool of blood. The injuries he sustained from the fight with Lucifer were not fatal, but they sure hurt like hell.

Delusive slowly pushed himself up to his knees. He looked around to see Lucifer had vanished, along with Shanks and Kyron.

"They must still be fighting."

Delusive slowly stood up, rolling his arms and loosing his muscles. He prepared himself mentally for the pains of lifting his sword from the deck. However, lifting it didn't seem as difficult. Though it still required both hands to lift, there wasn't much of strain involved.

"Humph, must be getting stronger."

Delusive went to strap the sword to his back, and realized he wasn't wearing his leather armor or tunic. He noticed burned marks around the medallion, so he lifted it to reveal the medallions symbol burned into his chest.

"Great, yet another scar."

The memories of the battle with Lucifer were vague, like he was reliving someone else’s memories. The strength gained during that fight was incomprehensible, but frightening none the less. Upon receiving the strength of the berserker, Delusive lost all awareness of right or wrong and of friend or foe. If the hate hadn't been targeted towards Lucifer, it was likely that Delusive would have attacked his friends. This scared the hell out of Delusive.

Delusive rested the sword on his right shoulder, still holding it with both hands. He then noticed the door leading to the decks below had been broken.

"They must be down there." He slowly approached the door, and then stopped before entering.

Maybe I should sit this one out. I will have trouble fighting in those tight spaces, and I've done enough damage to this ship already. Plus there is the chance that I might lose control again, and I might just take my friends down with me, maybe even this ship.

Delusive stepped away from the door and sat down with his legs crossed, placing the sword across them. Still facing the door, Delusive waited patiently.

If they come back up, then I'll help. That's all I can do at this point.

The Elf charges and jumps at me with both arms as to grab me....

I chaneled his speed and strenght and fell back to push him with my leg and try and get him over the railing to the watter.

As I am doing the move the deck being wet, my back slips and we just slip all the way to the edge of the ship. Now I had the elf on me holding me down and grabing my right arm where i had my dagger.

"damn you!!" He is much bigger.... I cant just push him off damn it...

We strugled for a wile and he made me loose grip of my dagger by banging my hand on the deck. When i lost the dagger I managed to get my left hand free.

But he was on top of my left arm now, as the arm was in between the both of us. I was almoust compleatly pined down!!

OOC: thats close enough to what i'd have done anyway, but be careful about controlling Ray.. sometimes i'd rather perform some crazy stunt than do what would be expected and obvious..

Ray was shocked when a leg came up under him as he lunged, but luckily the Alfar went down before being able to do more than lift him, causing the two to go down in a heap.
Ray lost his own dagger in the fall, and managed to bang the Alfar's out of his hand before losing his grip.
Ray used his positional advantage quickly before the Alfar could squirm out, rolling slightly to his right, onto the Alfar's left arm, and bringing his left arm back and down in a havy punch to the head. At the same time, Ray brought up both legs trying to use them to keep the Alfar's lower body pinned.

The Elf was over me... He punched me in the face my nose started to bleed.

Then he opened his legs to wrap em around me.. and keep me pined wrong move......!!!!

My arm was pined between the 2 bodies hard to take it out to the side as he was keeping it in there but hehe not to strech it. mabe my shoulder aint that strong but I can strech my arm and now that his legs are open!!

I grabed the elf by the nuts and squeezed as hard as I could!!!!!

his left nut poped out between 2 of my fingers I was squeezing so hard!!!!!!

Not to sound pushy or anything, but this is really dragging on. I took myself out of the fight below decks in hopes of letting the story progress.

Ray, why not give up that damned old ship, and head back to us. Your fight will never end because no one is ever going to lose. Plus, you got balls and I'd hate to see you lose them and become a puss...lol.

Besides, I think our real threat here is Lucifer. He is trying to still our paycheck, while Necrash is just after that ship and your nuts.

Since Lucifer ran below to get Durin, lets assume Durin ran on deck to use some magical flare, then returned back below to the girl. I mean, he hired us to protect him, so I doubt he would leave his neck out like that.

Let's find some way to make Lucifer retreat for the time being, and continue this somewhere on Arcadia(?).

If we don't hear from Durin soon, we will assume whatever he summoned with that flare will meet up with us when he posts again.

As for Necrash, I don't know what to say dude. I see your and Ray's fight much different than how you two do. I thought Ray was holding your left arm down and off to your left side and punching your face with his left. I see him using his legs to hold your legs down. Yes that leaves the nuts open, and your right arm free...but it also leaves his left arm free to also grab your nuts. So it's like your in a draw. The best thing to do is probably have the two of you seperate, and quick!!!

I mean seriously, I'm tempted to go berserk again, jump from the Emerald Queen and cleave you both in half. Then line myself up in front of a canon that doesn't exist and shoot myself. Then join up with Ray in hell and drink some ale cause its so fucking hot, lol.

Just before his fist could connect with the Alfar's head, there was a burst of flame and he hit the deck. The heat burst over him, boiling his soaked pants and searing the hair off his chest and face.
A moment of rolling around and slapping himself later, and Ray was back on his feet growling like a lion.
"Where the hell did he go? Does ANYONE have any idea how long it takes a mirdain to grow chest hair? And my beard! Heads are gonna ROLL!"

Ray stared around as he cooled off, both figuratively and literally. Finally realising that the Alfar was gone, he decided to get back to reality. He could see that the ship was in the Queen's wake, but was quickly falling behind.

Or better When I made my doble headed dragon fire shoot true the burned ship all the way to the queen and sink it wile giving shanks the midle finger. And standing on my own 2 feet after such a stunt!!

I stated at the very beginning that flying takes alot out of Twed. He has flown alot and against very strong wind. He also used his dragons breath which takes alot of energy and can only be used once every other day.

Twed also has no ties to any character. He attempted to help Ray because he was part of the group. However, he is here to support the Dwarf and the Dwarf is on the queen. Once Twed made it back to the queen he was to weak to make any contribution so found a safe spot and is resting to gain back energy.

Twed is mortal with limits.

Its not that you attempted to grab the person nuts that is god like, its that you didnt allow for the character to avoid being grabbed in the nuts. You take control of other peoples character to suit your needs. If you only did it once or twice it would be no big deal but you have done it multiple times.

Basically since the beginning you have disrupted the flow of the story.

Finally, the OP, wizeguy, who is the 'director' of the story has not been seen for awhile so the story has been 'floating on water' without direction.

So Twed is sleeping and will waken when the story begins to find a path.

I really think you should go back to the beginning, read your posts and take a look at the outlandish claims of your character before you critize anyone elses writings.

I have enjoyed everyone elses writing and hopefully will see more from each of you. However, as Shanks stated this is Wizeguys adventure and without him the storyline is kinda at a halt.

OOC: Necrash, when you say people don't get hurt, your mistaken. Dude blew my ass clear across deck, knocked me outta berserker state, burned my chest, and left me unconcious...but nope, never been hurt once. Just cause it didn't leave me gimp, dead, or castrated doesn't mean I didn't get hurt.

And if you recall, he threw a dagger at me, and he shot electricity at me...never once did he actuallly hit me, till I said it happened. Same applies, I swing my huge ass sword at him, but he chooses to dodge. We let one another respond to the action, not choose how we want that person to respond.

And personally, never played with dice. I'm just enjoying the story and creating a character I would like to play as. Maybe your getting too serious into this, and that could be your problem. But who knows!

IC: Delusive listened as the thief spoke. Tempted by his offer, Delusive rose from the deck. But something was still nagging at him. The dwarf knew his father, and he planned to find out everything he could.

When the theif hit the water and rose for air, Delusive yells "Give a shout when your at the ship, I will toss a line. I still think we can make this journey together."

Delusive looked for a place to rest his sword, but to no luck. The rail would give under the weight, and he was afraid of it sliding off deck and into the abyss below. A slight grin crosses the boys face as his mind gives him the answer.

The boy takes the sword by the grip and and stabs it into the ship, "What's one more hole going to hurt!"

He then started gathering the rope to toss across to the other ship.

Delusive had been preparing the rope. He knew the distance was too great to just toss a rope. He had found a tower sheild and tied the rope securely to it.

Delusive gripped the sheild with both hands. He took his usual stance, resting the sheild on the ground behind him. Tensing like he was about to cut down an ork, he shouts "Here it comes, watch your heads!"

With that Delusive rotated his body and released the sheild into the air.

Damn, I hope it doesn't hurt anyone.

Twed woke from his cat nap, shook his head and studied the scene in front of him. The Queen was badly damaged and two members of the group were on the deck. The older human, yelled to the War Ship and than dove into the angry water. The younger human grabbed his great sword and plunged it into the deck, after which he tied rope to a shield, picked the shield up and threw it towards the War Ship.

Twed flew down to the younger human and spoke.

"Your sword, if you wrap it with a tarp or with part of a sail, can fit within my quiver". Twed, to prove his point, pulled out of the quiver, a long spear and than returned back into the quiver.

"I can than fly it to the other ship. It might make it easier for you to cross".

Ray turns to watch as Kyron stumbles across his deck, gasping for air, "Why hello Salty..."

Looking back forward at the Queen, he spots an object hurling through the air.
What in hells is that?
Just as it got close to the ship, Ray made out that it was a tower shield, with a heavy line tied to it.
"LOOK OUT!!"
Ray hit the deck as the shield slammed home, biting deep into the planking.
Note to self: never to irritate that boy in any way..
Ray looked around for half a moment, then waved over a handful of men.
"Secure that line, pull it tight!"
Wonder if one line will be enough to keep us from falling behind.

He then looked forward just in time to see the shield take flight.

Delusive watched and listened to his little friend. He was amazed at how handy the little guy had been through out the journey thus far.

"That will definately come in handy. But for now I'll keep the sword. I don't know what's happening below deck. If Flash should re-appear, I want to be ready for him. Plus I don't see Shanks around. My guess is that the captain is trying to get Flash off this ship."

Delusive sat himself down, feet outstretched with his back leaning against his sword. After getting comfortable, he looked up at Twed.

"You can lean on the other side if you like!"

OOC:I magnation runs my char but if I succed or not thats got to be random! or else you never do it wrong to yer self and yea delusive I said excluding some and I also said exept for the ones mauled by flash!!

OOC: yeah nec, thats not how we do things here, the recieving person decides on every attack what happens, and we tell it like a story, not a competition.. so yes, we do take damage..

OOC: Who hasnt accepted damage? So far I believe everyone has accepted damage. You cant say Twed hasnt, because you damaged him with a fire spell on his leg and tail.

Twed was confused.

The older human dove into the water to swim to the war ship. The younger human, sitting beside him, threw the shield, with a line attached, to the war ship. Now he was watching the elf attempt to walk across the same line, from the shield, to get from the war ship to the Queen. So Twed sat down besides the small human and leaned against the flat of the blade and decided to watch the events unfold.

Also, where was the captain and the fat dwarf, he thought.

Delusive looked up to see the Mirdain walking across the rope that he had just thrown to them.

Amazing!

"Nice trick! Your full of suprises, like a cat you are." Delusive laughed.

"If you've come looking for the captain or lightning rod, I'm most certain they've gone below deck. I was gonna go after them, but I feel like I was on the receiving end of a nasty ork's game. Plus I'm no good in tight spaces. You witnessed that back in the prison."

"So, what's your next move?"

Ray was nearly across the gap between ships, when the boy on the Queen's deck began speaking to him. Trying to look up and pay some attention was just enough distraction to cause Ray to loose his footing. A quick jerk of the rope and Ray's foot went though thin air. Quick reflexes saved him from another swim, but he was forced to make the rest of his way along the rope hanging underneath it by his hands and feet.
Pulling himself onto the deck of the Queen, Ray looked up at Delusive and sighed, "Thank you.. I just came over for my stuff.. but i suppose I might as well have a look-see if I can lend a hand.."

Ray ran across the deck to where his gear had been secured, and dressed himself for a fight. A few moments later he was going belowdecks with his gladius in front, looking for the captain and the former captain.
