Ok so someone is glitching out Baradron. He is a super hard mob that does 90 dmg per spell and has a crap ton of hp.

He drops a key everytime. I think its a 4k key. While we wait endlessly for AV to fix him so he cannot be exploited so easily I make a plea to the community.

Fuck with the exploiters. Try to steal the loot. Try to down Baradron with mana missles at 5%.

Also, camp the 4k key chests. Whoever is exploiting him gets a key every 45 min or so, that means they have ALOT of runs to the chest nearby. Fuck them up and get their keys!!!

Lets show the exploiters on NA1 that hoarding a mass of gold to power level your guild will get you nowhere. We all learned the lessons of the past, here is a way we can change the future.

I dont mind people killing him and getting loot as long as there is a sense of danger/complexity worth the value of the loot received.

I know that people are killing him without hacking for the most part. He is a completely borked mob that, if you tried to kill him with a group will str8 WTFPWN you but if you get him in the right positions you hit him without him hitting you or he kills himself.

I dont blame people for doing this, I just dont want to see the same shit happen on NA that happened on EU.

They did this to the devils... instead of fixing the problem, they just drastically increased its HP so it took longer to kill with a mount, and was no longer profitable.

The best thing you can do with people who wall exploit ETC on NA-1 Is fraps it and put it on youtube with a rage post.

The bad PR that AV will get over this should mean they will finally act.

Keep frapsing and posting exploiting and they will probably hire more people to watch mob spawns, and implement a new range of methods to prevent it.

As for your affirmative action like camping leenspark chests.... no. I personally only turn in keys once i have like 3-4 of them and with a group and lock down the spawn for a few hours. Camping spawns is unlikely to be that useful unless you happen to be in the area PVE/PVPing anyway.

i may troll in other threads, but really, the pve problem isn't really fixed.. they opened it up a ton for more people to grind MUCH better, gotta give em credit there.. but tehre are still a lot of open spots (baradon included) that have been around for awhile that are stille xploitable...
and still a TON of small, outlier type areas wehre with little traffic with spots that give enormous (relatively speaking) gold per hour figures.

if thats the case there are people who live out of the chaos city just outside where it spawns they should find killing exploiters to be more then profitable enough to warrent it but again report it if you find it and it will be no more and if you still see people do a /gm_report then a /gm_help as GMs will always talk to you with the help request and tell them to go there right now to spot someone exploiting or right down the coords of it so you have them handy and tell a GM you fell through the earth they will ask for coords and tele themselves there to get you out at which point they spot an exploiter

There is a difference between standing on a ledge and mana missling when the mob can still hit you and getting inside of the building causing the mob to bug out and kill himself or mount kicking it.

PVP can occur easily enough when someone is mana missle "exploiting" vs someone inside of a building.

I wont get inside of a building to get to an exploiter. I will however mess with his spawn.

To those EU'ers. Exploitation of mobs is still there, but there is a smaller gap between legitimate pve'ing and exploiting, hence making exploiters less beastly down the road. Overall this will cause the server to grow at a normalish pace.

Did you expect NA-1 to be -anything- different than EU-1?

It will be different, and the difference is that the exploiters know how to do what they are doing much more efficiently.

By week 1, people who knew where to go had 50k+ in the bank on EU-1. If you are playing legit, you are falling behind faster than you can possibly imagine.

When people farm the shit out of mobs with throwaway alts for gold to buy sulfur from vendors for cash and then in a month have 100 fire, and your shit gets broken off you'll come here crying about it.

That means that the difference between the dude who will pwn you, and you (unless you are that dude) is about 300k gold.

People go crazy saying it's so easy to make money now days, but I don't think it is. There's very few spots that allow you to glitch something out well enough to get a free kill, and if you do, they still have a shitload of HP and take 20+ minutes to kill with a manna missile.

Cliff Notes: I think shit's fine. Fix hacking, leave the stupid mob AI alone, and stop upping mob HP. I don't want to fight a mob for 30 minutes.

the point isn't that the whole server needs the mob. we know your point was to brag about your skills, nice post.


anyway, the point is, these mobs are being killed by people in less than five minutes. Uninterrupted attacks at it makes that easy. When he's dead, they hop to the next spawn and do it again. These people are by far leaps and bounds beyond people even farming the harder mobs the right way (i make 2-4k an hour not in a wall or perch, usually duoing, fighting things the right way).

The baradon has a long respawn, I only know of one baradon spawn, if there are multiple spawns its possible.

Having the loot nerfed really does suck though, it was a major money maker for the legit players, but also the hackers.

Way to go fucknuts. This mob was a great way for skilled groups of 2-5 players to train archery while kiting him. You nerf a great mob and do nothing about the real problem, 3rd party programs that hack into the actual programming of the game. Yeah, don't do something proactive like get more competent GM's that actually give a shit.

This changes nothing. Instead of hackers being at baradron spawns (hell, no one will be at these spawns, what used to be small group pvp hotspots are now dead zones) they'll be at other spawns, and in a few days you'll hear the crys that such and such mobs need to be nerfed because the hackers are killing them.

Game will remain broken until hackers are detected and banned, if not instantly, within 5-10 minutes. I'll still play, and I'm sure people like me will keep playing because were in the niche this game appeals to, but anytime AV makes something new, all I think of is how pointless it is while we have fucknuts flying around doing whatever they please, and not being banned soon enough or at all.

The baradron shouldn't get nerfed; it's the only mob in the game that has the correct difficulty level and pay out for the time and effort put into it. Have one of Av's worthless gm's patrol it for a few weeks and the problem will be solved.

Do you know how to read or is it you're just willingly retarded? I pointed out that you had a ton of people in this thread whining that the baradron can't be done with out exploiting. Then you have people chiming in with bogus loot tables who don't even know what the fuck they are talking about. So my basic premise that this thread is retarded holds up pretty well considering.

Seeing as the point should be "stop exploiters" not "stop exploiters at the Baradron" what do you expect AV to do? The funny thing is that trying to solo exploit kill a baradron takes MORE time then killing it legit, and you run the risk of getting in trouble.

Yeah and besides that post I said what retard wastes 45-60 minutes exploiting a mob that drops 4k gold when you can average 10k gold in other spots. I never said nerf... You on the other hand are whining about AV's terrible way of solving problems, and your same guild whined for devil nerfs when the mercs farmed them... pot, kettle, black.
