There is so much misinformation about DFO on web sites like MMORPG, VN, and the like. I get labled a fanboi when I correct the information and speak to this games strengths. We need a new term because at my age fanboi doesn't cut it'; how about "Fanman"?

Any way, this game seriously owns. The state it was in at release in EU sucked, but even in that state many of us could see what we had here. Now with all the changes, fixes and additions, we are well on the road to what may prove to be one of the best MMO's we've ever played; a keeper for years, not just months.

So I'm asking you guys and gals when you have time, to try and post constructive information on fan sites. AV isn't doing it, or really could they. Let's share the love and enlighten those who would love this game, but based on what they read, would never know it.

I put in a good word for Darkfall when it fits the conversation, but going into a forum that you seldom visit just to start talking up a game reeks of fanboyism. Try being a little more subtle in the future.

Everything I say about the game is constructive and correct. I am far from a fanboi or a hater. You on the other hand have been a fanboi since the game came out and should really not be taken seriously. If these gamers cannot get passed the negative posts they will never enjoy any game, which would do good for the gaming community.

I have shown on MMORPG specific members, daily trolls, who have "ONLY" posted in the DFO forum as an example, for months, hundreds of posts, who have no interest in the game, but 200 to 2,000 DFO posts are still not sufficient for them to feel heard.

The state of the game today is no where close to the state it was in many of the negative remarks are based upon.

You may want to look further under the hood of the posts against DFO. For example, if the person has hundreds of posts on this forum and for months has only made negative remarks, you really should ask yourself how much to heart to take their comments.

The game at release in EU, and even up to a month ago, we "ify" at best for the average player. The improvements on every level have been so dramatic that I can only suggest you stop listening and try the game IF..... 1) You love PvP, 2) Love the idea of raising skills by using them, 3) No Auto Targeting, 4) Can enjoy First Person View, and 5) Can deal with full loot drops upon death. If it's a yes to all that, you'd be crazy to pass this game up. It's not just good; it's the best game I"ve played since UO and Darktide in Asherons Call.

But that's all absolutely true. Where is that the sign of blind fanman and in support of suggesting my posts should not be taken seriously?

Smooth as silk, and the best part is skills are rising really fast just playing the game. No more need for macroing.

I have a 30 ping and the game does run smooth as silk for "me". I can't speak for "you".

Do me a favor and make a "We think ChinaCat is a blind Fanman" in another thread so the point of this one can survive. k, thanks.

Although most people don't know that and still use the boards there to get info about games they may play. I started posting on MMORPG.com when I was playing AoC and I saw post about things listed as issues that still existed had actually been fixed months before. Thats why I post there on every game I play.

But CC you do need to be more objective in your replies and stop trying to argue with the trolls. Call them on their BS and let it go.

Couldn't agree more. Problem is the average person may have no idea. X Gamer with nose in X Game stumbles by MMORPG, goes to forum and sees nothing good about X Game.

If you think I enjoyed posting there, your nuts. I did it because very few were even trying to cut through the bullshit. I had success, and actually got a few people banned from the forum, and made threads and points that needed to be said. I am not naive enough to believe we can change the site, or any, but we can do what we can do. Doing nothing will result in the obvious. An occasional honest and articulate post here and there can help. That's all I'm suggesting. Up to you guys; just love the game and hate to see folks walk away based on total outdated information.

QFT. Alot of us "fanboi's" know the game's faults accutly but are able to deal with them because we get sooooooo much fun out of this game .....

I don't post much there.. used to, got suspended 5 times for posting good things and calling out trolls... funny.
