Black Shields
BkS is a group that has been formed with confidence, competence and the experience that comes with many of our members having played beta, then continuing on EU-1, and now coming to NA-1. Our founding members are those who held officer positions in a decently large clan on EU-1, yet were upset with the way the clan was being run in general by the very upper authorities, and have since decided to go our own way. Many of us can be considered power gamers, and we're looking for people who have the time to dedicate to the clan. We don't expect you to play 24 hours a day, but we do expect you to be active, to pull your weight, to contribute and to play regularly. You can be assured that when joining BkS, you're joining a clan that excels especially in PvP, group PvP and all aspects of the game.
We're looking for competent players that are able to at least hold their own in any of our engagements. It's our belief that recruiting quality members is the key for any clan to be successful, and have a mentality that if 5 people meet our criteria, our clan will consist of 5 people -- if 125 people meet our criteria, then we now have 125 members. We don't believe in recruiting simply to recruit, or to pad our numbers, which results in having players next to you in PvP who may or may not be the slightest bit competent -- this is not acceptable, and not something you will find here.
What you will find here, however, is a group of dedicated gamers and friends striving for perfection in all we do in-game, a group of PvP'ers that are particularly skilled and looking for others of the same caliber, people who take the game and our clan quite seriously but have fun while we're doing it and people who are willing to do whatever is required for the good of the clan and it's members. You won't find a bunch of "fat cats" here; SG's all the way down to new Recruits will be sharing any workload there is, and will be fighting shoulder to shoulder. We expect discipline, members who are willing to contribute and help the clan and it's members, and an understanding of how group combat works along with the willingness to follow combat orders when given without hesitation. We have a vent server and expect that if you're going to be playing, you need to be on vent.
