I have noticed a big difference in the 50-60 or so ping improvement. I will now be fighting mostly people with my same ping, so people will win and people will lose. Stop making blanket statements. kthx.

Yep, yanks exploited the most gold, and got elementals faster than anyone else. Same yank exploiters want to keep the skills their hard earned exploited gold bought, and will wait for transfer.

Scrub yanks that didn't exploit as much moved to NA, all thinking ping will help them against 2 x 100 elementals.

Say what you want, but there is a HUGE difference between a bouncing 250-300ms ping and 45ms ping. Yes, many of my opponents are going to have the same ping, but having the ability to dodge mob damage more easily, and to actually hit people with archery is a nice change.

Get a proper fucking net connection, I play many games on american servers, barely stretching 200ms usualy.

I laughed even harder when I saw the word "irony" in Nyrap's signiture.

Alas he completes misses the point and luckily for me the first thing I noticed was the same thing as Furyos.

I missed for like the first 2 hours.. Then I realized its because I dont have to shoot where I think the player will be.. ;)

Its much smoother eventhough East Coast NA's only get a 30-40 average drop in ping itself.

Back on point to the OP... the human zone was packed with people in at least 2 of the starting cities and the capital city. Not sure how the other zones are doing. I know that at least 10 or so cities have been claimed already. Oh and a side note my ping is 22 :D

I think it is because on EU-1, you could farm 100 positive alignment and then go crashing through noobie lands and everywhere else killing everyone and stay blue.

Now, if you kill and gank 1 person, you turn red.

I'm happy with the population so far.

Had a few hack and slash sessions with same race to clear spawns.

Had a one-on-one, I won.

Had a two on two, We lost. (we were resting after pve and got jumped)

Had a two on two, We won.

We had one warning come over the global vent about a full group rolling around in our vicinity.

Our meatwall is pretty full.

There're a some elf players too - not overcrowded,
but most of the nodes around the cities
are empty, so it's a good sign.

First they changed the journal on EU so it doesn't tell you how many characters exist or are in game. Now I guess they also changed the verification email when creating an account so you can't see your user id number which would tell you how many people registered so far.

It's silly how hard they try to hide the server population numbers.

Everytime I think it's a good idea to buy a NA-1 alt I think of pvping with only 2 options for damage again.

And grinding lesser magic, greater magic, and elemental.

And running out of stam a quarter of the way through a resource node.

And running out of stam after sprinting for 30 seconds.

And killing goblins at less than 10 dmg per swing.

And grinding melee/archery for days.

And not having a huge stockpile of mounts.

And farming city mats.

And wearing chain.

And then I just don't buy it

we live near aradoth and we have no problems finding fun.

Compared to Nif, post death takeover, this server is much more fun.

The newbies are refreshing and alot are taking a liking to the game, joining guilds and helping other newbies.

all in all, i dont mind rerolling and will not be xfering my main from eu1 other than to use him as a 2nd alt

Me too....the thought of grinding again after they announced the NA-1 release made my choice on transfering pretty easy....been having a blast this last month away from the keyboard.

The worst thing out of all of those was taking 2 stam bars per node, especially paired with the "farming city mats" one... at least now i'm up to it only taking about 1 stam bar.

The other stuff, already done with it... plate, bone, etc available.

Being on a level playing field since 90% of the people on EU-1 where not able to buy the game on day 1 let alone within a month.
