You've got a lot of cheek for a guy that just bought hammerdale.

We hold Long March, Mar Shral and Kholesh and the two hamlets of brockmoore and banagar. We've taken in about 100k in income in the past week or so, and from that we've paid for player skills, assisted in weapon crafting mastery, and kept our players in gear and weapons.

Outside of that we provide city access to about 22 clans ranging in numbers from 5-65 players each.

The primary members of our clan engage in nonstop small scale pvp which is both enjoyable and entertaining.

We're meeting all of my operational objectives, and we have 5 groves and 5 quarries providing a steady flow of reagents.

What's not to love?

That said, the main problem with hammerdale is that it is trivially entered.

Walls/towers are 1-2 building modules, and walls produce an inexpensive and viable positional advantage.

The cities I listed are both 4-node cities, and both have only one entrypoint.

We think it's broken.

Right now we get 100 an hour per holding regardless of size, if someone crafts at the workbench. That means hamlets or cities.

The income in freehold is mercenary work + village income + bindslot rent + etc.

It works for me because I fucking hate PVE.

EDIT:

Both cities have one entrypoint which in Mar Shral's case must be done mounted. I am not sure if you have to be mounted to enter andruk.

In any case, levitate will fuck people trying to get into either city.

100 members is about 1/3 of the population of a city, my man. You're a long ways away from zerging.

Hyperion with over a 1000 members took over a month to get a zap tower, you wont be holding 3 cities for long i think.

If i where you i would train your zerg on devils rather than worry about cities. They are a burden in the early part of the game. Easier to take than keep.

People moving to NA-1 learned nothing from their experience with TM and RN on EU. Those who spend their time farming up for cities in the early game will get massive monkey stomped by those who sit in chaos cities fighting each other or exploiting mobs to waste all the gold on regents for spells.

I fear the day that EU transfers are open. There will be massive crying and quitting by the current NA-1 city holders unless they transfer their old characters and even then they will still be behind by 3 months on those characters.

we will be fine and having a city to live out of is worth the headache atm and given that its easy to set up ways to train in and around cities why not take them and BTW living in a chaos city beating eachother up is boring as hell so

Marshrall has multiple entrances FYI. At a very basic level, it has a gate to the north and a gate to the south.
