I like how he gets nailed for cashing in for $6100 to pay for his son's medical expenses

There's no proof he's telling the truth, and I imagine if somebody stole that much money from you personally in real life you would still be pissed.

Awesome. I wonder if CCP is still keeping an eye on that guy who stole 800 billion ISK. I suppose he will try to exchange that for cash, eventually.

I'd rather be scammed by the giant ponzi scheme Eve bank. Atleast that guy worked hard to fool people. This newb just grabbed some money and ran, when he could have played it smart and gotten all or most of it.

You have to respect smart criminals. This douche was just a petty thief.

The funny thing is that when I started playing an individual that was to have supposedly failed at running a scam continually said that someone at E-bank would end up scamming. Almost 2 years later guess what. But the bank will pull through and this just gives other upstarts some room to push into the market if they so choose.

if you seriously played a game because it had "an awesome economy" then i kind of feel sorry for you.

I feel like I'll have to play eve at some point in my life. Maybe when that ambulation expansion finally comes I'll be able to bear it.

IMO EvE is a brilliant game, with beautiful graphics and the ingame politics etc are highly interesting to follow-up on. Playing the game however was a bland experience too me. EvE just doesn't have enough rock n roll to keep my attention.

The fleetbattles in 0.0 are pretty impressive, but the isk and learning grind you have to complete before you get there can kill your fun very fast. Unless you just loooooove stats, spreadsheets and keeping an eye on the rise and drop in prices of certain goods.

Eve seems like an awesome game but I never really bothered to get into it.

Just because it is above your head doesn't mean you should feel sorry for people who enjoy those types of things.
