Actually it might have been a shareware kart racing game with little animals driving.

Not proud of that, but I used computers in school a few years before I got my own in 95.

Blake stone maybe... I know there were games before that just can't remember what since I was playing video games before I could read (had to remember what position they were on the menu, like 1 over and three down was blake stone). Master of Magic/Orion was up there. As for nintendo Dragon Warrior, hardest part was the intro, after he told the story the king asked if you wanted him to repeat it. I couldn't read and just kept hitting 'A' to scroll through the story.

It might have been a sesame street game... I cannot remember the name.

As far as a game for entertainment (as opposed to education) my first pc game was probably mech-warrior 3, or that toystory 2 game for the pc.

edit: maybe it was lego island 2...

THEY ALL CAME OUT IN 1999! How am I going to figure this out? I didn't "follow" gaming back then...

I forgot which was the first one I played but I mostly played Myst, Journeyman Project: Turbo, some motorcycle racing game, where the crashes were funny as hell.. And some Star Wars game, forgot the name of it..

You know, Journeyman Project Turbo and Myst are still epic to this date, Journeyman could BARELY run on my computer.. The game had amazing graphics to me, it came out in 1994, around the time when I got my first comp..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1OAcXgAhjM

For 1994 standards, this game and myst had REAL good graphics, I was amazed by both of these games.. And the music in Journeyman Project Turbo is EPIC..

I also played the second Warcraft, tides of darkness, and I played Starcraft religiously..

And then in the year 1999, I got a new game, one that was just so incredible, I could not believe my eyes, and I was so addicted to playing it.. It is made of two words, the first one stars with a U and ends with a A and the second word stars with a O and ends with a E.

Oh and Duke Nukem 3d, I remember that being the shit..

I played all these games at around the same time if I remember... I never played Elder Scrolls, wish I had back then.. I played Command & Conquer as well, before Starcraft and Warcraft I think, or at around the same time, I can't remember really.. My dad had bought all these games at once, he bought like 20 of them.
