Where do dwarves get divine spells? From reading their religion I wouldn't think Ymir would give out divine magic. Would healing magic be RP'd as arcane for dwarves? any ideas?

How is this the wrong place to talk about it? It's a question about how to interpret the lore.

Given that all races have access to the vast majority of spells in Darkfall, I feel more comfortable treating healing more in the manner of arcane magic, similar to the healing done with the Power in The Wheel of Time.

Darkfall's gods are not omnipotent, as they wield a vast assembly of mortal servants to carry out their will, and are restricted just as much as mortals are when it comes to where they can and cannot go. Healing through prayer would suggest an instantaneous connection with a god, which just doesn't jive with what we know about the gods.

Also, do we have any source that indicates healing will be anything more than using herbs, potions and bandages?

I was also thinking that all magic would be arcane and there wouldn't really be any "granted" spells by gods. Good call, Merrin. And no, I just assumed there would be healing magic.

btw, there was a quote a while back about healing, there will be many kinds, including magic
popular speculation says it will be manually aimed or require contact or have weak auto-target heals
