Ray moves silently through the edge of the forest south of town. His arm is not up to full strength, but well enough to shoot with. A brief rest after the fight at the gatehouse, and a quick meeting with the head of the town militia, and then Raybur was over the walls and vanishing into the night.
With a hunter's eye, Ray can pick out shapes moving in the darkness, both in the woods and out in the fields before him. Mostly orks, but more and more Mahirim were showing up to assemble out by the road to the city. Luckily, none had come sniffing around in the woods yet, and by the time they did, they wouldn't likely be able to tell Ray from some lumberjack who passed through when the trouble started.
Finally Ray finds what he has been looking for, a nice tall oak overlooking the field before the gates, with a nice view of the small Ork camp being erected on the road. There was foresting going on further south, away from the city, but this spot seemed to be safe. Ray secured his bow to his back and began the climb, reaching a well-concealed bough about ten yards up before stopping and retrieving his bow. Ray settles in to watch, keeping a rough tally of the enemy forces in his head.
Damn, theres too many..

A young wizard came upon the gate. Dusting off his travel worn green robes he shouted, "I say, can you open up? I'm tired and need a place to rest for the night" clearly not knowing the mechanism is broken, or any of the other troubles that have befallen the small town.

A young guard, standing on the wall above the gate noticed the approaching character. Assuming it was a single ork or a goblin, who got lost too close to the town, he raised his crossbow, hoping to get the credit for the first kill of the siege...
However there was someone else who noticed the approaching character aswell. A thief, hiding in the shadows, not ten steps away from the soldier. And this thief noticed something strange about the character.

"Spy? Ork, Mahirim?" he asked curiously "Whats going on?". As the guards stared at him
"Oh right, proof... let me see" the young wizard created a glowing orb of light so they could better see his human features.
"Well now how do I prove I'm not a spy..." he seemed to find this whole ordeal rather amuzing.

Taking a quick glance at the rope the guards are kind enough to lower down, Jeffrey mumbles the words to a spell, and appears behind the baffled guard. "Sorry, but rope climbing has never been my best sport." he says cheerfully.
"So your under Siege eh? Well that would explain those 3 rather excitable Orks that decided to great me about a mile back. Well I guess I picked the perfect place to relax at." Still smiling "well as long as I'm here I might as well make myself useful. I'm not much of a priest but I do know a few healing spells, care to show me the injured?"
"Oh, I'm Jeffrey btw, Jeffrey Venefcus" wiping his hand on his old green robes, he extends it joyfully.

Ray nearly falls out of his tree in shock when a crossbow bolt slams into the trunk a few inches from his head.
The hell do they think they are doing over there!!
Raybur resettles in his spot and watches the orks streaming in.
104.. 106.. 111.. 116 Orks. 25.. 27.. 30.. 34 Dogs.. And thats not even all of them. The hell did they all come from?

Urk chuckles. He really did not expect this many followers. No matter. At that moment, a cart arrives, pulled by Medfly, a quirky Orkish pirate, and a close friend of Urk's. He comes with a contingent of roughly a dozen orks, not the biggest lot, but the type of ork that nobody wants to fight against, because if an ork can get close to you without you seeing it. Medfly himself was a tall, but slightly tinner than usual, ork with a bitter temper and a delightfully repungent smell. Whether he had recieved Urk's orders or whether he was just looking for a snack is not clear, but in his cart are several large, dead cows. He drags them out, and cuts out their entrails. The Mahirim look at him unusually, but there is something in his eyes that seems to suggest he means serious business. "Set up camp, boys." Urk says. "This isn't skirmishing, this is war. As for you noble wolfmen, work as our scouts and sniff out theirs, and this operation will go just fine. Trust me." The cattle entrails, and the cauldron, are dragged off out of anyone's view by Urk's svartdvergir. Meanwhile, goblins, have managed to cut down 2 or 3 large trees, which they are now sawing into what is more and more clearly becoming a large frame, a strong beam, and, with the help of the more skilled Mahirim, a huge, wooded box. As they begin to assemble this, Urk looks towards the orks. Now, what do you say we make us some battering rams?"

Medfly turned to Urk and said, " Mind if me and my men cut down a few of these trees and give them a little suprise at the port?" Urk simply chuckled and looked the other way. "Alright boys, start cutting down trees, and lets build a present for these bastards!" shouted Medfly, the doezen or so other pirates and mercenaries that came with him imediately obeyed. "I guess gutting the last smart ass right infront of them got the point across," thought Medfly. "I hope their is some loot worthwhile in that town, if not, I'll just sale the living humans as food or slaves," said Medfly with a bitter chuckle.

"You know." Jeffrey said, after listening to the seemingly endless barrage of bad news concerning the little town of Santioc. He had been tending to the injured in the middle of town, listening to the sad reports from the soldiers.
"We're in alot of trouble. I have seen Orc's at war... they'll kill everyone they don't plan on enslaving. Trust me, life as a slave is far worse than death. However we have women and children here. So death in battle isn't an option." He seemed grim, it didn't suit the young mage.
"So how do you plan on getting them out of here? Getting them to safety has to be our primary objective."

Nehemia was walking back to the road, he heard a furious yell behind him..
Break his bones! Nehemia turned around' and saw two large orcish scouts..
Not my day, it seems... He started running as fast as he could, jumped over the treestumps and bigger rocks. Suddenly he stopped, turned around and drawed his crossbow. Shot an bolt which pierced trough other orcs left feet.. The scream that orc made was terrifying...
Darn, I need to return to the city and warn others... Obviously orcs are planning for an attack to the city..
He used hiding spell.. The orcs stopped in front of him and started sniffing the air..
Nehemia didint stand still, he started to sneak towards the city gates....

Several hours had passed since Medfly gave his original orders, and the orc style longboat was near complete. The hides of the cattle which would be used for sales were dried out, and a few men were painting disturbing orkish symbols on them. "How long till we are ready to sail? said Medfly. "Not long sir, all we need to do is rig the sails, and drag it to the water," said the most hideous looking of the orks. "Good, I haven't sacked a port in awhile, this will be very fun," said Medfly playing with his jagged scimitar, with a sadistic smile.

It had been several hours, and Jeffrey had been pondering how he could get the women and children to safty. Opening a gate was too risky, he had no idea how many mages the Orks had, and there was a good chance they could intercept any such spell. No he needed to think of a way to get them out without alerting every mage in 3 miles of his plan.
"It's gonna have to be subtle, small" suddenly his face lit up, "I've got it!".
Signalling the nearest sailor, "Quickly gather every woman and child you can find, and meet me at the ally on the eastern side of the military complex. At the North wall. I'm getting them out of here, you do what you can to save the villiage if at all possible. However I'm going to see to it that when battle insues no innocents are harmed."
Angry at the dumbfounded sailor "Well what are you waiting for go now!".

Kyron was passing by, as he heard the young mage planning to rescue the women and the children.
"Whatever you plan on doing...do it fast. Those beasts will come crushing down on us any minute now."
He actually hoped that Jeffery would succeed in his attempt. If he managed to get the civilans out, they could retreat to the more defendable military complex without leaving innocent civilians behind.

"Don't worry, won't take but a minute. Lets see everyone here?" Jeffrey said surveying the crowd. "Excelent, excelent. Now then there's our escape" pointing to the base of the solid wall at the end of the dark ally. Noticing the questioning looks he reassured them, don't worry. Mummbling the words to magic lightning shot from his finger creating a tiny hole at the base of the wall. Much too small for even the children.
"Once you get through make for the river, don't worry the Ork's aren't likely to bother you once you make it." the puzzled crowed started to have their doubts, first how were they all gonna fit through such a small hole, and second how could the children possibly swim in that rapid river, third why wouldn't the Ork's bother them?
Ignoring their questioning, and somtimes mean remarks, the young mage pointed at a young boy and started speaking the words to magic then the boy disappeared only to be replaced by a rather excited hopping green frog. "The spell will last about 3 hours, if you follow the river downstream you should reach the next town in only 2."
Pointing to the next person, a young mother "Quickly get moving". Never waiting or preparing them he worked his magic. "The Ork's aren't likly to sense such a small amount of magic, and they also aren't likely to attack frogs in a river. Too much trouble, when they are preparing to take a city."
As he proceeded to turn them into frogs one by one a new problem seemed to dawn on the mothers holding the screaming babies. How would they be saved...

Besides the ground here is mark protected, the reason why the Ork's haven't come in yet." taking note of the worried look on his face and the scared mothers.
"Not to worry, I haven't forgotten a thing." he added with a reassuring wink. Still turning children and mother's without babes into the tiny green frogs. "Anyways the other mages should be helping with the defenses, I didn't want to bother them with somthing I can handle alone. Besides the more mages that are present the easier it will be for the Ork's to sense my plan. Not that they can do anything about it now."
Raybur Ravenloc

Ray was satisfied that his headcount was as accurate as possible as he climbed out of the tree. Now he had the task of getting back to the city. The woods were now crawling with orks and the occasional mahirim.
It was still a black night, cloudy and the moons were slim, giving Raybur a total advantage agains the orks, and hopefully enough of an edge to keep away from the mahirim for long enough.
The trip through the woods was pleasantly quiet, and Raybur reached the northern edge of the woods in sight of the gates soon enough. There were a few orks off to the west, but otherwise, the run seemed clear enough. Ray broke cover and went into a full sprint for the wall instantly, breaking stride only long enough to light a small torch to signal the gate guards to lower a rope. Tossing the torch up in the air, Ray picked up more speed as he heard shouts off to the left.
Halfway.. I'm good..
Then a sound caught up to him.. footsteps, but distinct. Only a mahirim in full sprint could tear up dirt like that. There was no chance of outrunning it, so Raybur spun and dropped to a knee, drawing his bow and nocking an arrow all in one motion. The beast was almost on him, and Ray released the arrow without much need for aim. The shaft slammed home in the beast's front right shoulder, sending it into a flying roll. A flailing rear leg managed to clip Ray in his own shoulder as the beast flew by, sending him sprawling, and before he could rise, the beast was on him.
Ray braced for fangs and claws, struggling to reach his blades.. but nothing came. The mahirim arced up away from him, allowing him to throw the creature off. Looking over, Ray can make out the shape of a bolt protruding from the monster's back in the flickering light of the torch. A glance at the wall shows a guardsman jumping up and down in celebration. A moment later, Ray is on his feet and running for the wall again. Reaching the wall safely, he finds the rope exactly where it should be, and two pulls have the guards hauling him up.
A few minutes later, Raybur is in the city, reporting to the head of the city watch.
"Almost two hundred total fighters, plus slaves. I counted 45 ork archers, 87 warriors, 5 larger officers of some sort, and 38 mahirim. They are just about finished building their war machines. I saw a pair of rams and what appeared to be a small ship."
After being dismissed, Ray headed for the port district to examine the port defenses.
Arriving on the dock, he saw that there was practically no defense. There was a gate separating the district from the main city, and towers at the wall junctions to the north and south and at the west and east side of the port, but no actual gate keeping an invader from entering the port.
Ray searched up an officer of the watch, and learned that there were very few men on the district's walls, just enough to keep off a few sneaks, and the strategy was to fall back to the main city as soon as the fighting began and defend from the gates and junction towers.
Worst plan I've ever heard, but it's not my home they are giving to the orks..
Ray figured he would head for the western port tower to put some arrows in the invaders before falling back to the north tower.

Medfly's men had dragged the boat out to the river, and began loading on. "Everything is ready captain," said the same large and hidous orc that reported to Medfly last time. "Good, after we take the dock, burn it, I didn't pay to hire ex-Iron Orcs for nothing, leave no injured alive unless we can sell them, I want not s single human to escape," said Medfly. "Yes sir, I will give those instructions to the rest," said the hideous one. "Good, lets push out then, these humans will die of age before we can flay them at this rate."
Moments later the ship was pushing out and the orcs had manned the oars with Medfly at the bow, shotuing and swearing them on."These humans will get a pleasant suprise to find a group of ex-Iron Orcs at their back door," thought Medfly. He briefly checked the chain mail on his chest and the and the rest of his body to make sure everything was in order, then checked everyone for their torch and powder. Once he had mad sure everything was in order, he put on a mask that caused even the other orcs to be uneasy and took his place on the bow once more. "This may actually be fun," thought Medfly as he let out a bile filled laugh.

A svartdvergir walked out, covered in blood, and clearly very sick from being around whatever was in that cauldron. With an exceptional amount of kindness, Urk handed him some healing herbs and sent him off to retire for the night, his work here was done. It was time for invasion. He ordered his orks into regiments of 20, with roughly 20 guarding the outside of the formation with their short, sturdy bows. The mahirim, exited for battle, howled and danced around, ready for battle, crouching down onto all fours. Then, 2 groups of 20 each thinned out, so that they were in double lines of 10 of the biggest, strongest orks. They picked up some of what Urk had been making. Battering rams. These two regiments, guarded on all sides and from behind by orks, made up the point in his formation that began marching straight towards the town.

Medlfy's ship quickly approached the docks, they were lightly gaurded. "Put down the oars, and draw your weapons, the time is drawing close." said Medfly as his companions took their places on the deck. "Give them all hell, take as much ground as possible and burn the docks as soon as we are off them, we will find a narrow point, and from there we will make our stand." Medfly said, as the ship hit the dock and his men charged up, setting fire as they went makling sure the sea would be no retreat for those left inside.

"Well then, I guess that takes care of them." turning to the remaining mothers holding infants far too young to be turned into frogs Jeffrey smiled.
"Ok now for you, lets see there seems to be 7 infants left. Easy enough. Watch." The mage knelt down and started to draw a circle in the dust while mumbling the words to magic. Then poof.
"Ribbit" a rather large and warty frog appeared. Twice the size of the poisonous frogs Jeffrey had been making.
"This is my familiar, Akrite, named after my rather pudgey master back home." the puzzled looks turned to frowns. "Now I know he isn't much to look at, but he's your ticket out of here. You see this particular frog has a pouch that can store living insects, until they are ready to eat." the frowns turned to scowls.
"Relax he won't eat ya, besides your still too big. Anyways they can store LIVING organisms in that pouch of theirs for days. So you'll be safe for the two or so hours until the next town." the women still looked uncertain. "I can't very well turn infants into frogs, tadpoles maybe, but that seems dangerous. Akrite here will get you safly to the next town, in relative comfort. Trust me he's made similar trips before. Now everyone gather round." mumbling the words to magic he shrank the 7 mothers.
"Allrighty Akrite do it!" gently wrapping the mothers one at a time, the frog swallows.
"Be quick, you know what to do." squeezing through the small opening Akrite jumps into the river and disappears.
Breathing a serious sigh of relief "Well the innocents are safe, now even if the Ork's win, they won't be getting any slaves."

Raybur waited with the other archers in the tower, watching the Orkish ship approach. Ray waited for the order to open fire. The Orks were allowed to land on the docks without any opposition. The defenders were spread too thin to waste men defending a pit like this. Orders were to wait until the Orks entered the city, and then open fire from the walls. The men would retreat as the Orks approached, until they retreated into the fortified towers connecting to the inner city. From there a real defense would hold.
The orks finally made it up the docks, burning them behind them. The order came as the first ones came between the dock towers.
"Fire at will!"
Half a dozen archers in each tower suddenly stood and opened fire.
Ray picked out a tall Ork with a mask and loosed, but another stepped up to yell something at him and took the arrow instead.
A handfull more men waited along the wall to cover the archers' retreat. Especially since the men on the eastern tower would have to travel all the way around the district to reach the safety of the south tower.
Raybur continued his fire down on the orks as they began to flee deeper into the city away from the archer fire.

Urk laughed, from his possition, far away from town. He brought out a bow and a single, especially large and impractical arrow. Urk was not looking to do any sharpshooting. He aimed the bow into town, and lit the huge arrow, which burned, white hot, as he sent it across the sky, so bright that even the looters and combatants, could easily see it. He then resigned to the heavily guarded center of his camp, where a few of his closest men stood around him, armed to the teeth. Urk was a shaman, of moderate power. He had lived a full life for his age, at many proffessions. Before recieving his formal training at the Temple of Flaming skull, he had spent a good deal of time in the swamps, hunting monsters and seeking a vison from Azhi Dahaka. He pondered which spell he should chose, selected one especially useful one, and set that down. He would begin casting in just a minute. First, he needed to do a check on something. The trees that had been cut down and made into parts had now been put together. Urk, after all, was not always a shaman of any sort. When he was very young, when he founded Doomfire clan, before he steped down from leadership and went into the woods, he was a talented young artillery commander and slave driver. His catapult had been tested, loaded with his special ammunition, and he gave permission to fire in a moment. He then sat down, and began to pray. "Azhi Dahaka, smile favorably down upon those who fight in your name. And protect from your punishing flames those who fight bravely beside them." With that, he called forth a goblin slave, siezed him by the neck, tore out his heart, and threw it into a fire pit, a sacrifice, and began to chant. He could have made his small army stronger, faster, tougher or more vicious. Instead, he protected him from the very thing his God reigned over. Fire.

Three of Medfly's men were too injured to go on after a few explosions from setting random shops on fire. "Stop that, you will only get yourselves killed!" thundered Medfly."Urks little plan should be starting now," as the first fire balls began to fall from the sky. Medfly saw a lone scout hiding behind a building in the city, be bashed his jagged scimitar into his shield, and made his way toward this figure as fired rained endlessly onto the city.

Fire came tumbling toward the city, in an endless rain of fire and death. Turning to the two mages on the roof with him Jeffrey pondered "Well those explosions didn't do as much damage as I had hoped. Its almost like the flames don't want to touch them. Can't blame the fire really, I mean who would want to touch an orc if you can help it?" The two mages seemed angry with this remark, and angrier still that their explosion traps were doing more harm to the city than the orks. They had insisted on casting invisibility spells to hide them from the ork's who invaded via dock. Jeffrey only said "If they can't see us, how can we see us."
One rather big fellow started toward a hiding scout, with a glaring scimitar in hand.
"Oh dear, we can't have that..." Jeffrey whispered to his unseen comrades.
"If we get involved now we'll only lose our advantage, wait till they get closer and stay out of the way." he whispered angrily.
Then the most miraculous thing happened, one of the soldiers near the large ork fell over. Then another, as still 3 more started swinging wildly at the air. As yet 2 more started running in panic.
"Mosquito's, such filthy creatures, always carrying this disease or that." Jeffrey said amused.

He continued to make his way towards the human scout hiding in the corner. Who fired an arow at him, he let itr land in the mail on his chest and stick in, but kept moving, he did this for the next 2 or 3 arrows as well to scare the human. The next arrow was at very close range so Medfly put up his shield, making the arrows useless. Seeing he was conered the scout pulled out his daggers. "You know, after I disembowl and decapitate you, I will use your skull as a cup," siad Medfly as he fixed his eyes on his soon to be victim. The scout tryed to run past, but Medfly hit him with his shield, he was going to toy with this one. The scout readied both his daggers and was going to make a desperate last stand."I have killed Iron Orks, the most sadistic alfar, the most skilled human knights, and meridan archers, what makes you think you have a chance?" said Medfly.

Jeffrey chimed in "They do when I gave them a rather simple enchant. They'll be spreading this disease all amongst the Orks." chuckling "It only gets worse as the disease moves along."
"When did you! How did you!" one mage started to stammer.
"When you two were buisy with your explosion traps. I still don't have much energy so I decided to try somthing smaller. I even gave the mosquito's a taste for Ork, so they don't go biting our side." Jeffrey explained, gaining new respect in the eyes of his companions. "Well it seems as though that scout is gonna be all right, although I kinda hoped the mosquito's would bite that big Ork. Well still they might have decided to go after the main force, hard to tell what they are thinking." the sky bright with fire from the Ork's main forces, helped show where the Ork's were coming from.
"Perhaps we should move to another location" one of the mages said, the fire seems to be getting closer. Still under the cover of the two's excelent invisibility spell they made their way to safer ground. Jeffrey made a mental note to ask them about their wonderful spell.

Just then he heard too large slams on his shield, this thre off his blow, but he still opened the scouts chest, he now noticed another one on the groud who quickly recoved himself and got into a skilled stance. "This one is good, intimidation won't work on him," thought Medfly. "Looks llike your companion is dead, thief, though you saved his corpse from bing split in two. An arrow sank lightly into Medfly's calf, it stung a bit, but his skin was thick, tough calaced an coarse even for an ork. He also wore thick durzag hide clothes under his armor, so arrows at a distance were a mere annoyance to him, but enough focus could do some damage. "I will have to get whoever shot that for this one, oh well, he should be meeting some of my men who took the wall soon," thought Medfly.

It's an old ork concoction.
Mix a corosive mix of chemicals found in the swamps of Morak. They form a highly, highly unstable mixture or magical components, that, if exposed to any disturbance, as much as shaking it hard enough, will burst into flames. Put this inside something capable of supporting this highly corrosive mixture, and you have yourself an orkish incindiary (ooc: this was in the old lore I'm not bullshitting). Most people perfer to put the mixture in the stomachs of cows and pigs. That is a valid tactic, and the stomachs of the slaughtered livestock were piled next to Urk's catapult. But these he would not fire himself, rather, he would leave them for the precise calculations of the svartdvergir. Urk had his own way of doing this. Like sausages, he had made the links of the intestines into small, numerous incindiaries, and placed them all inside the catapult, then aimed it towards the center of the town. As Urk prayed for the protection of his soldiers from the fires of his god, he gave the order, and hundreds of repulsize, deadly flamables fell on the town, striking the rooftops of buildings and setting them on fire. Urk chuckled, for before long at all, the alchemical fire would spread to engulf the entire town. Moreover, the orkish battering rams were seconds away from begining their barage on the walls of the town. It was truly a good day to be an ork.

Just as Kyron was about to answer, an arrow came whisteling and hit the ork. Looking quickly at the wall, Kyron recognizes the shooter.
"Raybur, hold your fire! This one is mine."
Hoping that the Mirdain had heard his shout, the thief turns back to face the masked ork.
"You need not know my name, greenskin, and I don

Ray sees Kyron shouting angrily at him, even if he can't understand the words.
Hmm, his funeral..
Ray was lining up a shot on another Ork when something caught his eye from behind, in the main city. He turned just in time to see dozens of small objects hurling into the city, and then flare up into a small inferno on whatever they hit. Many hit nothing but pavement, and a few didn't even seem to burst, but the effect was still devastating. Most of the small housing districts had at least one fire and were spreading determinedly, and one of the major manors seemed to have caught a bomb through a window.
Damn, this place is going to get very uncomfortable very soon..
They would have to fall back to the main keep soon, but might as well cost the Orks as much ammunition, lives, and time as possible first.
Ray continued his fire on the Orks stranded in the port district. By now almost all of the defenders had evacuated into the main city's wall. Very soon the towers would be locked up tight and anyone left behind would be on their own.
Better hurry along with that Ork..

Medfly partialy dodged the dagger, but it stabbed him a bit in the shoulder. He quickly mad a slash with his scimitar moving his shield behind it, that way if he did block or dodge the shield could b adjusted to send him flying. He managed to blcok the scimitar, but it knocked his dagger into his shoulder a bit, drawing blood, th injury was minor but it was a start. Th shield caught him in th chest, knocking th wind out of him and sending him flying out of th alley into th main street. He walked towards the thief slowly he didnt want to give him a mistake he could use. The thief was recovering his breath as Medfly walked towards him in a slow defensive stance. He noticed an orange glow moving further in the town, and the walls shaking. "Good, Urk should be coming through on his end soon, and do to that handy little spell the fire won't harm me a bit, though that much cant be said for the human." thought Medfly as even more sadistic plans ran through his head.

Looking back the three mages saw the roof they had been standing on engulfed in flame.
"Well I guess it was a good idea to move." Jeffrey mused.
"We need to put out the fires!" one of the mages said quickly.
"It's orkish incindiary." the other said.
"I don't suppose either of you know any rain spells?" Jeffrey asked hopfully. When they both answered no, stealth and fire had been their specialty Jeffrey sighed "and I chose to learn fire as well..."
"Any bright idea's for stopping the fire?" one mage asked irritably!
Jeffrey smiled "Your a genious, we'll make things very bright! Using controlled fire we'll make firebreaks around the burning buildings containing and smothering the Orkish Incindiaries."
With a sly grin one of the mages responded "This could work" then after a pause added "I may have misjudged you."
The other interjected "The only way we'll really help this village is to split up. We're still under the effects of our invisibilty spell so we shouldn't have to worry about Orks. Also if you see any other mages tell them of our plan."
"Right!" Jeffrey and the first mage said as one. They quickly left in seperate directions and Jeffrey whispered "I will not let this town become one big funeral pyre!"

Ray turned back to Kyrons fight in time to see him climbing the wall out of a fog shrouded area.
Ray began to laugh maniacally as his friend began shouting for him to shoot the bastard.
Looking back into the dock district, he could see that the place was lost, enraged Orks were dashing about madly in the inferno, and the humans were all either out, dead, or doomed.
A moment later Kyron was up on the wall, and Ray met him there.
"Well, not much more to do here.."
Looking back towards the main gate, he could see humans fleeing from bursts of flame on the battlements, and the gate looked as if it were taking a solid beating.
Rams are up, and the orks are making those walls a very bad place to be.
"Not much to be done there either.. looks like we'll be falling back to the keep shortly.."
Ray claps the thief on the back and begins walking along the wall toward one of the fortified side-entrances to the military keep.

Nehemia turns around as he hears a whistle from the sky..
He looks up...What the heck is that?!..He saw an object flying towards him from the sky... As it got closer, Nehemia decided to jump out of the wall into the nearest rooftop.. The object hit the wall. Exploding and bursting a wave of flame, Nehemia fell of the rooftop.... He dropped into a pile of barrels....Whatever that was, I dont want to meet another one'...
Opening his eyes, he notices once again another of those objects was flying towards the alley he was, propably hitting near the barrels...
For her sake! Nehemia yelled and fastly pulled himself back to his feet, jumping long jumps backwards.. He could see the object hitting the barrels.. Creating another burst of flame towards him.. This time he got enough' far away and the objects power didint reach him..
That must be ork's doing'... Soon the whole city is going to burn.. Darn where are the other members of the Order when I need them...
He chose to get on the rooftops again.. Jumping from another to another, he started looking' for allies...

Jeffrey, finishing up a firebreak around a house, saw the continued barrage of Incindiary. "I suppose it doesn't matter if we can contain some of the fires if they just keep adding more. I need a way to stop the incoming incindiary so that the rest of the mages can contain these fires before they burn the entire town to the ground." Thinking, Jeffrey sent up a bright green magic signal, to be seen by all the mages in the town. "We're gonna need to work together on this spell." Jeffrey whispered completly exhausted from his constant casting.
