Today wasn't something I would have been expecting to be doing. For a good long 5+ years, I have been a part of The Vindicators. What originally was to be a fun and enjoyable PvP experience, soon brought on the fears that, well, did come true.

I do suck at PvP, and during Beta, I was perhaps one of the very few Alfar that had Pack Mule.

But, fast forward three months, and with the breaking of DUSK, a war that, to be put bluntly, TCA[The Carebear Asylum(Remnants of DUSK/DAWN)] kept their thumbs a mile deep into their ass, and the fact that I wanted to see the world. And it was something that I did want to start up on.

Deciding where to go wasn't all together hard. SB was locked in a war with TCA, and being TCA, negotiations didn't go so well.

South was Rubiayat, and Freemason city would be the only trading port. But, with the lack of resources on Rubiayat, and the constant threat of Cactus/Stasis, I decided it was too dangerous.

So, my adventures led me north. And from Tughri, I went on north, up to Death Island. I did run across an Apollo Hamlet, and with a few messages, I was welcomed in. In all honesty, I was able to sell a few bows for some gold, which was a nice refreshing change.

The servers did come online, but I managed to get 580 gold. 2 crappy .71 damage bows for 50gold each, and 4 .72+ bows for 120gold each.

Overall, if my experience with doing this becomes pleasure able. I might have found a new hobby in Darkfall. Hopefully, future travels will go just as well.

That sounds like an awesome idea. I wish you well in your travels. Your idea reminds me of the rabbi (mel brooks) in "Robin Hood, men in tights". Could be a lot of fun :).

It was an interesting change, and the guys I met with were pretty nice.

Would have enjoyed it more if I weren't bound 14km away though. Kinda sad leaving a place I knew as home during Beta and the last 2 and a half months. But, now I get to see the world!

And maybe become richer than TheMercs.

Once you have their money ... never give it back.

I doubt that'll be possible.

So far I've managed a few trades, but in the end, decided to take up residence in the Eastern most Aesir city.

Currently, I'm buffing up my Tailoring, Maintenance, and Trueforge Armor.

After that, it'll be arrows for gold/Trueforge Weapon

And then I'll begin on Weaponsmith/Armor smithing to 100.

Drop by Frotbourne(Yew's city) at some point, we'll be glad to have you around for a while.

Will do in the future. Currently biding my time though. Armorsmithing is at 1, and Weaponsmithing somewhere around the 30's.

Kind of want both to be at 100, and my Trueforge skills at 100 as well. With 50k Gold and 3k of each refined resource in stock.

This should allow me to purchase a few rare ingots (Mostly Seletine), and start making rounds around the world. Selling crafted shit, buying Wood/Iron, and just enjoying myself and the fact that I might not ever have to grind again.

But, I'll see what the future holds for me.

For now, Aesir/Death Alliance are treating me very well in the city. No engagements with them as well.

Definably friends to merchants!
