Officers Journal, entry one.

Post-Operations Report:
A bit delayed for my first entry, but I will try and catch up to speed. The Yewian Loremasters called the Militia to arms after hundreds of years of dormant nomadic wandering, and it seems we have found our home in the frozen North on the isle of Nilfheim. Or is it Niflheim. Who tha foch knows. "Deciet" as our neighbors call it, so we'll go with that. Our Imric ancestry has been under-wraps for quite some time, generations deep, as our ancestors fled from the Mercian invaders. Out of memory and time for all of us, but the stories never fade nor die, as the Loremasters continue to berate us on our "heritage". It's rather fitting that the alliance accepted terms of surrender from what was the new power of Agon's eastern half, the Hyperion Kingdom... thus putting our people back on the pedestal of Agon's future. Whether the Mercian Kingdom was replaced by Hyperion might is unclear, I reckon' both are still sitting on their thrones somewhere.
All I know is our short time under Hyperions wing was a foul one, and I am glad to see I made the right decision for our soldiers, finding allies in the most unlikely places. Deciet is a fitting land for our Yewian soldiers and Civilians, a place far from the turmoil of the mainland and a place we can once again earn the right to rebuild our Imric forces without fear of Mercian retaliation.
The Loremasters of Yew continue to search the scrolls finding other willing soldiers with Imric decent, often times reaching out to Elf and Dwarven families with ties to our ancient allies. I must say I am glad to see such warriors as Major Fabo on the front lines axe in hand providing one of the largest meat-shields we have. The arrows of the pansy elven types such as Major Larking are also something to be feared.

We have also accepted assistance from our local Mahirim neighbors looking for a good fight or a few coins, as well as a few dirty Alfar troops. Most of em I will admit do pretty damn well, and seem to put up with my "Grapes, Raisins and Prunes" terminology quite well. The mark of a good soldier is one who can take verbal abuse and keep the loyalty.
Here we depict the cleansing ritual forced upon by enlisting Alfars. The Arcanist division does quite well with fire in these instances...

Back on track, the Militia founded Frostbourne as soon as sufficient strength was received. Small in number at the time we have propelled our forces forward, building the city stone by stone. The cold temperatures have killed quite a significant amount of soldiers, not to mention the obvious casualty count from constant warfare such as that received from the early HARM invasions. Forging the alliance with the Lords of Death and KillCult has been a difficult task, adjusting our morals and techniques to that of the war-hungry nature of our allies. The pay off to this day of course, is an unbreakable bond forged through war and destruction that will not be easy to erode. I have full faith that our soldiers will follow the likes of such warriors through the pits of Agon and farther.
Campaign wise many have been launched, with the Militia entering into thirteen or more sieges, it's hard to keep track.
I have submitted a few renditions of more recent campaigns:

Of special note close to many a Yewians heart is our more recent trip to Long March, the seat of power to Hyperion. Having been declared a rebel force during our departure from Hyperions corrupt government, we have long awaited the chance to enter their borders as victors rather than dirty rebels. Yewian forces along with Black Company soldiers for safeguard duty set off to visit the city, come what may. Perhaps the King would be present to share an ale.

We were naturally greeted with barrages from the flame-thrower cannons, so we decided to send Sergeant Keller to the walls to deliver a parley request to any high ranking Wessexians or perhaps King Mannus. A brave man that Keller.

We were subsequently greeted by representatives of "The Nomads" who proceeding to inform us the King was "A-F-K". We then came under fire as the Long March garrison launched the remains of a cow over the walls, so we had little option than to assault the walls with Black Company. Little resistance was met, so I must conclude that perhaps the Wessex forces have seen better days. Local hamlets were also cleared out with little resistance.
Quite the reversal from when Hyperion forces entered Frostbourne on their early expedition some months ago when we were nothing more than a few soldiers with large piles of rubble and the idea of rebuilding our Imric army.
