Arrows quanty to level up Archery 1 to 100.

I see many topics whith partial valours to level up archery 50 to 75 or 75 to 100...

But dont have a topic whith the right quanty to level up archery 1 to 100.

I see in one topic that need 60 k (60.000) arrows to level 1 to 100.

Is that right?

Anyone that have sucess and have Archery in lv 100 can say to us how much arrows he uses?

a shortbow has app 80 durability(lets say) youll need app 120 bows

That money gets me from 55- maybe 63 in water magic if I am lucky and level a spell thats usefull

I think it levels faster if you are actually hitting a target rather than shooting arrows into nothing.

I didn't keep track but 60-80k (used on actual targets none wasted on shooting nothing) ~95 archery, sounds about right.

15k arrows from 50-75 its the only time I kept track. 90% rk 0 bows.

in the mid seventies I'm getting a one-point-gain per 300 arrows (give or take a few)this is irrespective of bow level/type, food buff or target.
this would suggest 7,500 arrows from 75-100, providing there's no further scaling...(not to mention tonight's patch)

at 75 you need 100 arrows to get 0.1 point. But it is not nessecary to grind up archery the important things are the passiv skills veteran archer spiritet archer and sharpshooter....they bring the most benefit.and at 100 archery you need again maybe 30k arrows to get all the stats to 100

This was before the patch, but I used between 1000-1100 arrows to get 1 skill point at 80 archery

You obviously did because you were nowhere near the truth, and yeah I actually did use 1000 arrows at a time and pulled my archery skill to chat bar to see the skill gains. So it is still you who are the dickhead.

I don't quite understand the premise of making up figures, when they are of no consequence and I really don't give a shit if you believe me or not (in fact i find it peculiar why you would attack me over it) but the fact remains that only yesterday I recoreded every arrow on my way to 75 and the average was 33 arrows per .1.
Call me what you will, and from 75 to 100 might be more, i don't know, I only got to 75 yesterday....but if you needed 700 per point you fucked up along the way somewhere LOL

I never used a r0 bow to gain archery.
I tend to use r20s and at 40-50 gain .3~ every 85 arrows
I tested r40 bow and saw a slight increase to .4~ @ 85 arrows

so if my current archery score was 33.2, to reach 33.3, i would need to shoot 34 arrows.

so, again, if my archery was 33.2, i would need (34x8, 272 arrows) to reach 34.

With this new patch (5/15) although reports are still coming in, people have reported a 20% increase in gains, per arrow. however, you have to fire at something that has a health bar ( havent tested on clan structures yet)

It took me 285 arrows to go from 59.2 to 60.2.. So i think they actually doubled skill gains if your numbers from before were right (tho imo they were a bit high)

wow that is definately an improvement! that calculation was just what i observed shooting into a wall, and watching my arrow stack deplete.

i cant wait to get home and crunch some numbers.

you people (ha! you people posting in this thread kk) should figure out a new archery/parry macro so u can macro in the city. ( and stay the fuck out of my grind spot LOL)

Is skill gain affected by the rank of the bow? For example, higher rank higher skill gain but lower your rank to the bow quicker you lose durability?

FYI I counted around 110-120k arrows to get to sharpshooter lvl 100 (If I did that only macro-shooting at the wall it would be around 150k I quess)

Since the patch up to 70 so far for me using rank 0 shortbows was ~ 27 arrows per .1 point.


So if this were true from 1 to 100 which I am assuming it is. It will take ~ 27000 arrows. 100 * 10 = 1000 * 27 = 27000, but as a previous poster stated only up to 50 and 75 really matters because you get all the mastery skills.

Nope I was wrong at 70 its 40 arrows per .1 so I need almost another 2k to make it to 75 from 70.
