SWG PvP any good?

I'm looking to pick up an alternate game so I don't get too burnt out on DF... SWG is one of the few MMOs I've never played that seems to have a good following...

How's the PvP?

How's the character development?

What does end-game involve?

Where can I find information on this game?

Also open to other MMO suggestions that still have a decent following (outside of WoW)
