When the sun goes behind the hills. Wind blows harder and stars show up.
The silence, the harmony. Forest seems to be a sleep. Perhaps if you look around you can see shady figures lurking. Turn around and see another. Ranger sits on treestump wondering.
"What is purpose of our existance? To bring death, pain and sorrow to eachothers? Im pretty sure we weren't formed to kill eachother. Forming these clans, declaring war upon eachother. Whats the point in that? All I can see it as a play, like every funny play always ends into hurt of someone. Do we exist?.. Im not sure.. Maybe we dont really exist."
He raises his head, sees you. Stands up and disappears into the shadows.
Start to think, are we made to help or to destroy eachothers?

Unlike the uninteresting inhabitants of Agon, the Alfars have a purpose: Claim the world as theirs and eliminate the other (barely) intelligent races. If you can't find a purpose to your existence, you're not worthy of the life you've been given. Actually, it's also true if you are not Alfar.
Melek is the only true and all knowing Deity of Agon and everyone shall obey him or be eliminated. Join us, or die.
The purpose of my existence, you ask? To kill you, unworthy being.

Your feeble, gangly race can barely hold a pimple from busting on a bright sunny day, outside those grubholes you infest. Yet you have a notion that you can withstand the Lightbringers wielded by Morgaine's holy paladins?
Let the humor continue, grubworm.

In darkness, we are free. In darkness, we reign. And darkness shall fall upon Agon when Melek's Alfars are victorious. What will you do then, unworthy sundrinker? Pray? Yes, that's humor... Paladin.

I agree with kehmesis, praying is useless and makes everyone feel themselves idiots. Their just words... Words mean nothing. *laughs* Next try throwing a rock into a pond and wish!

Our purpose as Mahirim is to hunt, to follow the herds where they may travel and worship our gods Nieth and Leen . Those of us who follow the old ways want our freedoms back to hunt where ever we wish , and not to be persecuted by the Mercian Zealots who wish to chain our race . Talking with humans is like talking to squirrels, they talk very fast, say very little and are hard to understand at the best of times . They call us dogs, and though there is that resemblance, they are nowhere near to us . Show me a Mahirim that would willing be led on a chain and I will show you one whose life is at an end .
The wolves of the forrests and plains are closer to us, but what member of the Lupan clans could ever steal into a village undetected? Then slip into a fat Clergyman's home and take his life, dignity and fat chest of gold that he pilfered from his own kind under the pretense of giving to a god that calls for the subjugation of other races ?
The purpose of the Mahirim, those true to old ways, is to rid our forests and plains of the human taint, and any that stand with them . We stand for a freedom lost, to be reclaimed .
At the end , we will look at the evening skys and tell our young the legends, and show them an open world again . One free of the prejudices and falsehoods of those men of Mercia .

purpous of life is to pass on our genes as far as we can, so the strongest survive and we create gods of the world to keep passing on their genes
