Lightning Strike no back damage?

Why the hell does this spell not do critical back damage like all other missile type spells. I know the level 50 fire spell that has a area effect on impact does critical back damage and its much the same as this spell mechanically. What gives???

This bug makes me very sad. Its been like this for a while. I've reported it all over the place and even made a thread here on the forums about it. One of the community staff said that its a known bug, but I'm baffled why they haven't fixed it in the past few patches. Keep reporting it please :(

It's not a bug. Impale from earth magic is the same - it's unblockable and doesn't do additional damage in the back.

Awesome, thanks for the info. I just tested it to be sure and you correct, it's unblockable.
