Does adventurine care about macroing, is it just part of the game to them, and accept is as a tool players will use? Or are they trying to stop it, but are not sure how.
What is there position on this issue, everyone tells me something different. I don't like the fact that people do it, but if nothing is going to stop them from doing it, I'll have to change my behavior to stay competitive in the long run.
Maybe adventurine should give a form of rested skills that promotes the use of logging off instead of macroing, for every x hours you log off your next X skill ups increase by such% etc.
I'd love it to see someone with some form of authoirty or know-how to enlighten me but right now im stuck in the dark.

A solid answer? Wrong game. This is home of the double standard and grey area.

No
Just don't do it in the middle of a starter town. Enough people will cry to GM's and force them to temporarily kick you.
I don't like it either, but AV shouldn't have made a game with an endless progression that forces players into it to compete. There was actually a macro button on the menu when you would right click in-game, they removed it soon after release with all the people complaining about macroing, before they ever implemented it as a working feature (clicking the button would give one of those "Don't click this!" messages, the same one other broken features at release would give when you would try clicking them)

That wasn't macros, that was hotkeys or something along those lines.

I remeber the "Macro" button as well... not sure when in disappeared, was some time ago, but it existed in the main menu.

All they really care about is dupping, teleporting, speedhacking...
all of which uses third party programs that alter values in the game's data stream between client and server.
If they cared about pure macroing, they'd have to close the game down...
