View Full Version : Sorry if this has already been answered..but about the "Soft Cap"
is it true that if I attempt to skill up crafting and PVP that eventually one of them will prevent me from advancing the other without taking one of them down? When it was coming out I heard about that so nobody could be the same and you had to choose what your good at.
I've seen a couple of threads on this... but it has never been answered. Probably a good reason for that.. but still.

No, it's not true.
Softcap (not implemented) would mean when you have too many skill points overall (or in category) you would start training slower.

i hope this soft cap will be implemented really soon because its for me a prerequisite to a skill based system.
That will allow a good management of skill usefullness and spoiler ....

Softcap only allows for imbalance. I like it as is.

Hopefully they implement it correctly and it doesn't fuck over crafters.
