If we did not have EPA making it legal for them we could have sued them in court like it was done before EPA was made.
From my science background I can tell you there is little to worry about. Trace amounts are rapidly broken down by the body and have no effect on you. Of course if you don't trust that assessment you are free to protest. I would rather return to English Common Law approach.

Its called aliver and it does not regnerate. If we filter out what the body considers a non threat and stores it over time it becomes a full dose!

Are you familiar with what it means by trace amounts?

It doesn't work that way.
The liver actually DOES regenerate.
The liver does not STORE medications up over time, effectively being a full dose.
The only thing I found disturbing in that article is the fact that a warfarin plant is not more closely regulated. We have to treat it (and a handful of other common drugs) similarly to chemotherapy (like the fluorouracil mentioned). It goes in a separate bucket which is disposed of in a high temperature incinerator.

Not to mention over time does not matter. If there is a couple of hundred atoms/molecules of the substance in the system they are not in a high enough concentration to damage any of the pathways from operating. They are simply expunged from the body with zero effect on it.

I think the drugs they dumped into the water will turn everyone into zombies.. What was meant to be good, will be something bad. It happens in all the movies. *tinfoil*

We consume trace amounts of it every time we eat. I like how a retard like you would rather get into a epeen match then discuss something worthwhile. Further proves you are a troll. Had you noticed I was asked about my background. Your liberal tricks to turn this as if I was flaunting it wont work here.

You were giving out an "expert" opinion prior to being asked.
Its not about an epeen match, its about you thinking your non-complete degree makes you an expert or even experienced in the matter....when you are so inept as to live with your parents.
P.S. I'm not a liberal.

Of course, being a bit agitated you think your an expert on the subject matter, but live with your parents and haven't even finished a basic degree, yet think you should hand out advice, is clearly trolling.

Lulz at whoever said the liver can't regenerate. If any organ can regenerate it's the liver. Most toxic shit that you ingest affects the kidneys far more severely than it does the liver.

the point being if they can dump a couple million pound of waste into the waterway of our children what exactly is gonna stop them from dropping a couple more million later on ... And pardon me if i'm wrong but if i was reading somewhere on cnn all these company are in the top 100 biggest corporation and they can't spend a grand a ton to destroy their waste correctly ?
This is the same mea culpa with somalia ... first we have international company dumping "trace" amount of nuclear and medical waste into the ocean around the indian gulf and then we have hundreds of illegal fisherman sucking down every fishes they can whore out of the old seas and selling us these fish with nuclear eyeballs ..

They should not dump this waste. However EPA is making it legal and they are not held responsible for what they are doing. If the popular outcry makes EPA change it's stance it does not retroactively punish the companies for the dumping they have already done.
We should make it that even un intentional and un malicious dumping is punished if it is proven to be harmful to the life style of the people who consume the water. This way these companies are stuck between a rock and a hard place next time they decide to dump shit in our waterways without consulting each and every one of us.

I want a system that can not be corrupted. We had this system before it was dismantled and replaced with EPA.
What we had before was English common law. If some one was polluting your private property you can go to court and sue them. If the court sides with you the person would be punished and you would be given compensation.
It worked particularly well in keeping companies from polluting water ways. Because in order for them to do it safely they would have to get the permission of every single person who owns rights to the said water way. It made it practically impossible for most types of pollution.
Any type of pollution even something insignificant like trace amounts of chemicals (there is trace amounts of mercury in our fish CALL THE EPA NAOW) does not belong in drinking water. Return to common sense approach would make it impossible to pollute without facing jail for everyone responsible. It proved a big deterrent to pollution that is produced from paper mills. No one was willing to dump shit in a river after first cases set the precedent.
