OK so my fucking girlfriend was using my comp to try and find some video online, then she tells me she started getting all these pop-ups. I come look and it turns out now I have some trojan?malware shit going on.

The virus/trojan is called "AV antispyware"

Im running scans with Avira and Spyboy Search and destroy. But they arent getting rid of it, Do any of you guys have any advice as to what I should use?

Get Google Chrome, no pup ups, and no pop-ups you want to see getting blocked either. You just have to drag them into view to see their contents.Though that probably won't stop pop-ups with IE as you can't uninstall the goddamn thing. That's probably a bad idea if she's some moron who clicks ads since it doesn't hide ads or use IE regardless. So wait for Windows 7, install it and you're rid of the crap. Then reinstall Chrome and uninstall IE even though steam etc will probably not work anymore.
