Has this happened to someone else...?

I was standing on a small rock, and looked down at my feet... Then I decided to cast a mana missile where I was standing, ie, at my feet.

I did so, and I got the usual "flash" from the mana missile, but then, suddenly, I was sort of in mid-air, or mid-space... No sign of ground or grass or the rock I was standing on before, just air all around me, and the usual sun and moons...

I could run, and my arrow was moving on the mini-map, but I couldn't see any terrain. Very strange indeed. Kind of like the "fall through the world" bugs from Vanguard, though there it was possible to see the ground structure from below.

I sat down to rest, and then clicked Quit, hoping that a relog would fix the issue, but now I am stuck in the queue instead.

yeah its happened to me but i unsheathed my weapon and it worked (wasnt mming)

Do a /stuck command in such cases.

Should bring you above ground a few steps away from the place you were.
If nothing help /bindstone_recall

It happend some times to me, but not with mana missile. When something kill me and i must born where i'm bound to i fall down.

Happened to me once. But i was going to rest when i suddenly found myself freefalling through space with the two moons at eye level.

Doing /bindstone_recall wont work as the system goes 'you must be standing still'.
