let's compare: alfar town - mounts are around 350-400, arrows 1, ore 4.

Do prices differ?

For the humans/elfs the average mount price is 300 - 350g, arrows are between .7 - .9 each, and iron ore is 4g each.

Everyone selling arrows at 0.7 should be casted rend upon, and killed with his own product :)

But indeed, the arrows can be bought at 0.85g in human alliance.

Lies, mounts are ~300 at most in Alfar race chat, and arrows are around 0.8 each. I suppose you're right, the high end is around 1 ea, but I still wouldn't pay over 0.8, just like I won't pay over half of vendor price for reagents.
