I hit 100 tailor the other day and I really like the studed suits. I have been leveling GM so I have been reluctant to a make bone armor set for myself. Well I broke down and spent the 72 bone 30 leathers and 50 gold on a set. Low and behold it was less resistant and more magic encumbrance than the studded set.
From the description of tailor mastery it lessens the time per crafting attempt. Is this the only thing it does?
studded set (looks pretty good)75 skill
55 leather 8 iron ingots(with fails)
5 resist in the main damage types
Bone set(looks great)100 skill
80 bone 40 leather 60 gold(with average fails)
4.2 resist in the main damage types
I mean i dont mind buying the skill but if its just an issue of time per craft i couldnt care less.
Any tailor masters see an increase in resistances?
45~rigor(+2 resist)
Also I have never worn any of the metal armors. How does this compare to say banded or scale?I know plate will be higher but I dont wear it.
