Does anybody knows, is there any differece between racial mounts stats. I test some, Horse and Eradan, hitting them. It looks like Eradan has more HP than a Horse. Maybe you knows any other interesting about it ?

That may not be true. I've only heard that those with a higher taming skill make mounts with more HP....so that may be skewing your results unless you can get two people with the same skill level to make two different mounts of two different races and then have the same person kill or hit them with the same amount of hits to see who dies first.

From what I hear:

1) pigs are the shortest and have the smallest head: hard to hit and easier to fight with 1hander mounted
2) drakes are hardly visible at night but shine in the daylight
3) pigs and garnirs make noise when stop
4) horses have horns - sry couldnt resist :P

I'v test yesterday. You was right, there is no difference in HP between mounts. It's approximately 400-420 HP each.

Drakes make the least amount of noise, and horses are loud as fuck.

Seriously, I can hear them coming from a mile away, I would never ride one.

I have also heard that Horses, having longer legs, can run through some of the shallower water that other mounts need to swim through.

My horse has been able to run through water that an Eradan needs to swim through, so you're correct.

Hi, I was just wondering if it is not possible to make other mount types than my own race?
I just rode 30 minutes from Charyblis to Ymirs Tear to buy a taming whistle because I thought I could make those pigs then, but no, its the same :bang:

You make the mount of your race.

Sigh, I want to ride a horse, not a ugly cat.

Has anybody grinded up there taming skill. I know it would take forever but do you seriously get anything for having a higher taming skill.

dwarf goats are huge, and so easy to hit. and so are their riders.. just because they're fat I guess

Not at 25. I'll let you know once I get to 50.

But I'm not optimistic that the taming skill actually does anything other than simply allow you to make mounts.

I was hoping higher skill would allow you to make your alliances racial mounts as well. Nope.

Horses and eradan are great because you can stand and rest on top of them.

Drakes are terrible because you cant stand on them and because they SHINE incredibly much. They also make u easy to hit from behind.

The best mount is a horse. It is nicely camouflaged, it makes no maneuvring sound, you can stand and shoot on it more often than on an eradan and it has a nice visible kick that you quickly adjust to and learn the limitations and possibilities of.
