Crafting Skill Increase

Forgive me if this has been addressed before. I was unable to locate a topic on the subject.

Do you get a larger skill increase the more difficult the item you craft or do you get the same amount of points regardless of the level or difficulty of the item you attempt to craft?

I've seen a connection between the number of raw mats you use and how high the skillgain is. Most won't see that however since they blindly craft always lowest mats using stuff. But even there gains vary, 0.1-0.2.

With more mats used that can rise to 0.3 or .4 even (75+ Armor smithy here)
But overall you might be better off with the lowest mats crafting...
