Ok. So I've taken my tailoring 1-78 on cloth armor pants.

For a change of pace I started messing with weapon smithing. I looked at the relative item costs and figured spiked clubs were the best equivalent, wood being easier than ore to acquire in elf lands.

Then, I made myself a wooden warhammer. At approximately 23ish skill I'm getting .6- .9 gains from the two handed hammer, but only .1-.3 for the club. Anyone else notice this type of disparity? Is this the result of a patch?

It's possible I suppose.
During beta and up until a week ago there was no difference in skill gain between making spiked clubs and minotaur halberds.

Naa the more mats you use the higher the possible gain imho.

2H burn a lot more mats than 1H weapons, therefore you have higher gain chance. If you gain on large armor parts as example, you usually gain more than 0.1.

Now i'm mainly armor crafter but i started with weapon, so i remember these high gains on 2H.
