Become a guilds main weaponsmith....they'll feed you ore till you puke rank 40s and above.

Quick question on weaponsmithing, how do you begin crafting weapons? Is it something you buy from the blacksmith in town?

The phrase "making free weapons for your mats" has done wonders for my weapon smithing skill.

Quick question on weaponsmithing, how do you begin crafting weapons? Is it something you buy from the blacksmith in town?

You have to buy the 'service' or skill from the Blacksmith NPC.

Then you have to gather the appropriate materials

Then you need a Blacksmith Hammer (Tool) that you can purchase from that NPC or the General Merchant NPC.

Then you craft at the Anvil/Forge. Usually located at the Blacksmith NPC... (not always)

Or if for some reason you have more metal, and less wood: goblin axes at 2ingots, 2 wood a pop.
