1. Does increased skill lower failure rate? I have 30 mining skill but I seem to fail just as often as when I had 1.

2. How long does it take for a mining node to refill itself? Do they refill gradually over time or is it all at once?

3. Why do metal nodes have so few iron ores? I usually get about 10 ores from one plus 8 sulfur (donno what it's used for but I hold on to it) and sometimes a gem. Trees, stone, herbs all have lots and lots of resources but metal never does, plus metal is hard to find while the other nodes (especially stone) are everywhere.

1. It does fail less often, but no idea on the numbers.
2. Not sure
3. I usually get 40-50 iron ore per metal node - are you perhaps mining with others? there is a set amount per node, and if others are gathering individuals will get less. Sulphur is a regeant for magical spells, you can sell it to aspiring mages or save it for when you want to increase your magical abilities.

every resource node has 51 items on it. that could be sulfur (reagent for spell casting) or iron or a gem.

Success rate does improve with the increase in harvesting skills. If you are getting less than 51 off of a node it means that in the last 3 hours or so it was hit by someone else and not fully drained. Every 3 hours after server reset (time is different every day) the node replenishes, even if it was not fully drained. Hope that helps.

1) Yes but it's not a big change.
2) 3 hour cycles I believe
3) Someone else tapped it but didn't deplete the whole node.

Love the sig, saw in on their boards. How many points did it cost you?
