Reliable Leather?

I cant seem to find any reliable ways to get leather. How often do the goblins drop it? It doesn't seem very consistent. Where do you guys get your leather from? Vendor?

Skin: Raptors, Cave Bears, Polar Bears and Carebears... Raptors drop 20 leather when skinned.

Edit: you can buy leather from vendors. 20g for 10 pieces (i think)

Well depending...for example if u are an alfar is not so easy get to bears into the dwarf lands..u travel a lot .
u can skin one of these monsters : manscorpion - u need a 3 pppl crew at least are not easy to kill .
gnolls hunters - give around 2 leather at skining , also need a few ppl , they usually come in zerg style 4-5 .
goblins drop - rare 2-3 pieces
giants drop - you also need a crew

Basically is a bit hard to get leather alone so maybe if u have the money u can also think at buying it ?

or u can buy from vendor , 4 g per piece or from players with 2-3 gold per piece.

I tried the kill the adequate mobs thing , I did get more gold than leather so I started buying it for crafting purposes, selling the item crafted and re invest it to buy more leather. I stopped killing mobs for leather.

I am happier now

Really its just easier to farm for gold and use gold to buy leather.

bears drop it consistently

Manscorpions are a good source of leather. They're easy to kill with a bow if you know how.
