Hey, I'm grinding goblins to get to 500g for a crafting skill. I was wondering if using the armor I'd be crafting would make any difference in how hard mobs are. Would it be any easier to grind up for my other professions, or are the armor values next to negligible until you get 50+?

You can get to 25 very quickly making shields, which doesn't take any metal.

At 25 you can make banded, so you don't really need to 'grind' to 50 in so much as 'make useful items' to 50.

Shields or Chains sleeves and pants depending on what resources you have.

Unless you have an order for armor.. always.. and I mean ALWAYS grind Chain pants and sell them to the vendor.

Yes, wearing any armour you have makes the fights much easier.

I went from taking out 1 Goblin Shaman (just barely) to taking out 2 Shamans and a Scout at the same time with a full set of Banded on.

but u must also take in consideration the risk u expose to when wearing a banded in the middle of goblins spawns.
but overall ...taking in consideration that a banded can be made with 90 ore and 12 leather ...is a risk that worth taking. but surely you will not feel comfortable and probably some gankers will jump on you at some point.

Banded in Darkfall is like t-34 in war world 2 , is cheap , can be made fast and gives a pretty good protection . i am making 50 soon at crafting and i will switch to scale.
