Hi everyone. I have noticed something curious and I am sure there is a reasonable explanation for it. The problem is, I cannot decide what that explanation might be.
I leveled swimming to 100. During that period, I was keeping track of how long it took to skill up .1 point (i.e. 34.1 to 34.2). As I approached the higher levels, the time between skill ups increased (noticeable 50+ and then 75+). This makes sense to me.
Now here's the thing. Next I was monitoring my time to skill up progression for run. At a run of 40 or so, it was taking as long to skill up from 40.0 to 40.1 as swim was taking to go from like 95.0 to 95.1. I decided that this was due to run just taking longer and forgot about it.
I went on vacation for 4 days and didn't play at all during that time. When I got home, I had to install a fresh copy of Vista and Darkfall after a reformat. Now, my run skill is leveling ~2x faster than it was last week.
Why? Could it be patch change I missed reading about, cool down from not playing for 4 days, Darkfall reinstall or Vista reinstall/reformat? The skill up time change is not my imagination. Something happened.
