There is little to no noticeable diffrence between rank 1-2 logging *and other harvesting skills* and rank 100.
I was just wondering what you guys think about having the higher you harvesting skill the greater the chance of your getting 2 resources per harvest.. and having gm gives you around a 50% chance of getting 2 resources... I dont see this breaking the game or making it ez mode or anything just a slight increase to crafters on getting resources.
And for those who will say your harvesting skill does matter.... I went harvesting with a friend who just got the game we both started harvesting at the same time i had a 9.1 timer he had like 11timer *harvesting masterys works great* after about 10mins he had more timber/resin then i had..... that seems a little off to me.

It wouldnt matter... It would make every item drop twice in price...

try a guild mine or grove they give milti drops or 2,3 or 4 at a time

Can't speak for the other gathering skills, as I don't have the mastery's, but at 100 Herb Gathering and 80 Herb Gathering Mastery (43.x wis), I can empty a farm without losing any stam at all.
On a farm, I tend to get 5 regs per swing, except on wheat or s/grass, but have had 7 steedgrasses in one session.

Apparently you don’t have a harvesting skill at 100. There is a huge difference between rank 1 and rank 100. At rank 100 I will usually take 60-65 attempts to deplete a node using usually 3 / 4 of my stamina. At Rank 1 it requires about one and a half stamina bars to finish.

See the thing is you can’t start a rank 1 player with only a 1% chance to gather. That’s just to low. I believe it’s probably closer to 20% starting out. You also have to remember that harvesting a node is like rolling percentile dice and trying to get within your success percentage. There are going to be times when you do incredibly well and there are going to be times when you do really badly.

The magic number is the 75 i think. With Herbgathering 75 and the mastery i have much less fails and i need much lesser stamina.
Yes my logging skill is 100 and my mastery skill is 100 if you dont believe me msg me in game name is labiferoan windrunner.
In 10mins you dont think the person with 100 logging skill should have a greater amount of timber then the person with like 2 skillups?
And as far as city resources thats where i got my idea from city resources work fine but get harvested out in about an hour not to mention lots of citys are limited to what resources they can have. And you have to remember the people who are in guilds without a city.
The prices wont have drop or at least wont drop much all it means is that resource nodes will drain faster pushing harvesters farther from guard towers and making the chance of them getting ganked greater.
The idea was already implemented to city resources just think it should be done to all resources.
