Do we have a post that really goes over city building?
I have a few questions.
1. How much can you build?
2. Are there limitations on WHAT you can build?
3. Do buildings rank up, does the clan stone rank up?
4. Are there areas where you cannot build walls.
5. Can you choose the style of the walls?
6. Can I have a Farm, Quary, Mine, Grove?
7. Can anyone provide pictures of the Orc / Human / Dwarf buildings and walls?
Lets get some converstation about this stuff.

You just farm insane amounts resources to get building modules. You then get insane amounts of building modules to build buildings. Every single building is pre-placed. Walls are useless as gates are not IG yet. Resource buildings allow you to harvest more resources there and deposit some into your clan bank account.

1.) As much as your city allows.
2.) Yes, each city is predetermined.
3.) Yes, you rank buildings
4.) Walls are predetermined by AV
5.) No, each city is designated Dwarf, Orc, Human, etc...so you get those styles.
6.) If your city allows, yes.
7.) Not atm...don't have any
I guess the next question, how do you know if you are limited to one thing or the other.

Also can people help me out with the prices of buildings?
Mine is - 250 building units?
Grove ?
And a building unit is
250 gold 200 stone 50 wood?

Grove is either 100 or 150, can't recall which but I'm leaning toward 150.
Not to mention the Mine, Grove, Quarry and Farm all have limited resources. A lot of people estimate it is around 2000 resources.
Based on your mining skill, to my understanding, you get more resources per hit. The most I got on a Quarry in one hit was 5 stone. The lowest was 2 stone. The drop rate for Resin and Sulfur is MUCH higher in the Grove and Quarry. For the Grove, you basically get x amount of wood and y amount of Resin every hit, usually more wood than resin.
For the Quarry, stone and sulfur gathering is separate, but you also get the same amount, if not more, sulfur per hit. I usually ended up with more sulfur than stone per trip. It's a Fire Mage's paradise.
People also say the Farm has an increased rate of dropping Steedgrass, however, you can't get multiple Steedgrass when you succeed. The restock timer on resources resets when the server does, and grows back every minute or so in small amounts. I'd say around 10 per minute or so.
Not so sure about the numbers on a Mine, our clan city only had a Grove, Quarry and Farm. Hope this helps answer a few questions.

Almost.
Walls are useless cuz you can just launch over them.
