Never played before? Level 1-20 is done in the noob area, which is extremely well made and didn't really need improvement. Ergo, we have no need to hear about it. It's the rest of the game which is the problem.

The first 20 levels is the best part of the game. Your going to have good first impressions. Basically to sum up AoC. We will take a theme park roller coaster. You start on the chain going up the first hill (1 - 20), You start falling after that to the next hill which is 40. Then you basically grind your way through the 50s and 60s. wait this is a shitty roller coaster why did I get to 80 to do raids I should have stayed playing WoW.

you shouldn have to grind til 75+ now. Lots of quests if you bother find and do them. Course if you're lazy, you can just grind mobs and bitch about there not being any content.

Depends on what you mean by fixed. Have they fixed some of their technical issues and added some beef to the game? Yes. However, what they can't fix is the core system of the game, which is terribly flawed, and the over-reliance on instances.

It fucking sucked. I got bored in a week, whereas DF kept me entertained twice longer and WAR for almost a month. I can't even tell what was so bad, it was just a horrible game.

I liked AOC. It is certainly a flawed game, but at least it was somewhat innovative. The fighting system is the best I've seen in an MMO, the areas were pretty cool, and the graphics were decent.

It did suffer in that it lacked mid and high level content, though that can be debated. It's most severe probably was the utter unbalance of the classes. If you chose ToS, you were God. If you chose DT, you were a peasant. DT was the most fun class though.

Didnt they add content to 50-60?

And are you out of your fucking mind? Wow is much more carebear then aoc.Aoc has much more open pvp and city sieges where you actually loose something.

Aoc offers much more then wow in many ways.

Heh, I've tried it. It looks beautiful. The first 20 levels are very fun. After that it kind of breaks down. If the game wasn't chopped into sections and zones, it would be much much better.

Okay trying the trial, getting it to patch while I do another play through of Mass Effect. Patching is going to take a while.

Their new game director seems to be doing a better job with AoC. I keep hearing conflicting stories though, such as half the dev-team leaving to work on 'Secret World' and then others saying they added lots of new content, dungeons and other stuff.

I'm not sure which to believe. the 7 day trial won't let people see the endgame (the part most lacking in AoC at release.) So any good impressions they may have may quickly turn to shit once they subscribe and hit the level cap.

I'm going to wait till they give more details on the AoC expansion, just to be sure they are indeed still going to support the game, and even then I'll wait till people can confirm that what they say will be in the game, will actually be in the game. (still no dirx10? lolololol)
