I used to work in an office. One year I decided to take a break and do some Landscaping. Thought it would be good to learn a trade, and plus it's useful knowledge.

I was young, and making about 14 bucks an hour. After a year...4 of us (white guys) all got laid-off. Owner said times were tough....not a lot of work.

There's alot of issues with your response. The US was trying to label captured persons as unlawful combatants not protected by the geneva conventions. The issue is that you need a trial before you can label an enemy combatant an unlawful combatant. Also, offering habeas corpus just means you get access to a trial. It does not mean you get set free. If there is evidence to support the detention of a person, present it at trial and voila, they remain detained untill the end of hostilities. And the WW prisoners did get trials.
