hey guys sick of using a polearm need some help

Hey all iv been using a pole arm but im sick of seeing everyone use one and looking for a switch. Im currently leaning to great sword and great axe....i run with a great club in my bag in case i encounter a heavily armored target. Also wondering about the 1h weapons...does the axe have more damage less range then sword just like in 2h weapons? Is the 1h club better against armored targets but not that good otherwise? Any input would be appreciated thanks

everyone uses every weapon... what u should get good @ pvp with is the daggers.. if u can roflpwn someone who's using a polearm with ur little butterknives... i envy u

Greatsword is the next most popular and its what I went wiht. Im not a FOTM kinda guy and enjoy playing what I like more so. Ite keeps the game more fun for longer. Ive played with others tho that us greatmauls and knives and greataxe. I think they are all viable but the greataxe reach can be difficult at times until you get good with them and strafing against polearms. Greatmauls seem a lil better and def. viable taking into account the extra damg. youll do in the high end cause of the bludg damg. Knives are very tough but could be very deadly if you could master them. Greatsword has good reach and speed and the damg. isnt to bad either a good all around choice. Hope this helps some and is what Ive seen so far good luck finding one you enjoy.
