Great Club Mastery

I'm rasing my weapon skill with a friend of mine.
We reach the lvl 75 and then we bought the mastery we trained exactly the same time the Point is :
In GreatClub his mastery is increasing ten times less than me (i use polearm)
I did reach the lvl 25 in mastery a the same time of reaching 77.5 in weapon.
When he got 77.5 like me he was only 3.5 in mastery.

Did anybody heard about this problem ?

A guildmate of mine has had trouble raising his greatclub mastery as well.

Using a polearm ups Great Club mastery faster than a great club user? Sounds like you found an exploitable bug. If a polearm is your main, you should probably buy Polearm Mastery.

I think what he meant is he is polearms, his friend is greatclubs.

They both got to level 75 around the same time and both bought their proper masteries.

He is now at 77.5 polearm, with 25 polearm mastery, whereas his friend is at 77.5 greatclubs, but is only at 3.5 greatclubs mastery.

Seems as if greatclub mastery is broken.

So my mate decided to train sword instead of greatlub coz greatclub_mastery seems really broken :s
We called Gm and he didn t answerd.

What i would like to know is if that problem was allready experienting by one of yours.

I dont know but does some stats effect skill training?
Are you both same race ?

Axe mastery is broken aswell.

I believe all the mastery skills which required 100 normal skill level, before the patch which fixed them, are broken at the moment.

Bump, I cant get any skillups with great hammer mastery. its gotta be broken or something, comapred to the other masteries.

I think a lot of their 'skill up' code is (was maybe after this patch) tied to stamina drain to the target. That's why beating on AFK bind point people skilled you up, even though the target took no health damage. And hitting multiple targets would skill you up faster.

So, understanding that, is there a correlation between Stam drain with Polearms and it's Master increase vs Stam drain with Great Glubs and it's Master gain. Perhaps the clubs do a lot less stamina drain, and are thus leveling up slower in the mastery.

Still, you figure if they level slower in mastery, they would level slower in normal Great Clubs skill. Which doesn't appear to be happening. So it's probably a bug

Question: is it still worth it to continue training my 2hb up past 40 that it's at right now. Or switch to polearm now like everyone else, cause I'm tired of standing in front of guys and not hitting them cause of the increadibly shitty drange on 2hb mixed with crappy NA pings...
