I have never actually tried this but what happens when you sail to the edge of the map? Do you hit an invisible wall or do you loop round to the other side of Agon?

Invisible walls.
Pretty fucking lazy of them, considering it's possible to just swim to the edge of the map.
So much for the supposed "sea monsters".

Hmm that sucks. Was thinking of planning a raid on the other side of the map :ninja:

It's flat. And there's a very good explanation for that - expansions. If they're going to expand the world it's easier that way. A round world would also provide a far too 'easy' way of travelling from one part of the world to the other with almost no risk, just using autowalk/swim.

Nice point. I didn't think of that.
See this is what you call a civilized thread. :)

I believe the world is shaped like a cylinder. You can travel around the world to the other side going East or West but there are invisible walls to the North and the South.

lol I don't know for sure if it's a cylinder as I've never tested it out personally, but that's what I've heard from a few different people. However, I do know for a fact that there is an invisible wall at the North and the South.

It´s flat, period.
Devs themself have stated this so there´s no arguing about it. Anyone who doesn´t present me a video of themselves going around the "cylinder" or "ball" is just tearing facts out of their arse, and even with a video i´d call a fake on it.

You'd think with those monster moons we'd see tidal activity. It's all a hoax I tells ya!

The world is round; we are just restricted to a small portion of the planet.

UO had a round world.
DFO is flat. I have been to the invisible wall myself.

Did anyone try using multiple knockback on a volunteer, to get him behind the wall then?
Or just " hey, a wall, great. Let's go back " approach?

when you go to the edge, dive and look at the water, you can actually SEE it a waterfall like flow where the ground ends, the invisible wall stops you about 1000 feet from that.

Liesssssssss!!! I haven't seen a shark in hours and hours of swimming. Yes, i've swimmed for hours without being afk because im an exploring retard, and it was disapointing, some empty island, no sea creatures. :bang::bang::bang:

So you'd like to commit a huge amount of resources on a gameplay feature that offers little or no value to the game?
Technically, the world is a cube.

if you tried to make a square map wrap around, to make a "round" world, you would wind up with a torus. Actually making the game a sphere might be impossible.

What he's saying is truely more of how you'd want to think of it than actually pulling it out of his ass. You should really think twice as to how realistic his view-point sounds. Rather than thinking 'the world ends here', like a Neanderthal, you can feel creative and just say 'this is where we're forced to stop exploring'. =P, we're not in the 1800s, Columbus already proved that worlds aren't flat!
Once again, it's just a view-point. :lmao:
