Which kobolt type can be skinned for quartz? I tried 2 types at dwarf lands... kobolt scourge and that second one which drops 15g + chain/banded helmet.

None of those were skinned for quartz. :(

Not kobolds. Cobalt Golems, and pretty much any golem.

Oak Lords do also skin for this.

the kobolds NE of redmoon drop quartz :) no need to even skin them
