Which spells are people actually using on a regular basis from each area of magic?
I'm using just (no elem yet) mana missile, Heal Self and Mana to Stamina.... everything else just doesn't serve a useful purpose for me. Is there anything I'm missing out on?

Should be in the magic rolls section but I too only use those MM HS MtS, no greater spells (working on elemental before I use reagents for other things), ball lightning/lightning bolt sometimes fireball.

I am using the following very often
helf self
mana to stamina
stamina to health
health to mana
these quite often
mana missile - when I want to save arrows or hit multiple targets.
Occasional use
LoH
Rend - bringing down mounts that are running away quick with archery, seems to add some benefit
Launch - those hard to reach places or the odd surprise in PvP
heal mount - together with LoH can repair a mount very quickly
This is basically my entire spell list right now and I make use of all of it.
At GM 25 now, not sure whether to take witchcraft, or save my cash and carry on to GM50 and take an elemental and come back to witchcraft later.

I'm playing 100% mago. So depending on the situation, I'll use different spells (LM, GM and WC atm) from the best to the worst :
Attacks (Eldritch Sphere (which is dealing more and more -arcane- damages and little AoE so you can use it with teammates), MM, Needles, Rend)
Heals (Heal Other (fast cooldown, cheap in mana), Lay on Hands, self heal)
Buff/debuff (Health to Mana, Mana to Stamina, Frailty, Inflection Shield)
I almost only buy spells I had good feadback on. And I'm pretty happy with them.
I was disappointed by the mana drain (only good to use on CaC teammates, and it costs almost as much mana as it drains), Magic Ward ans Magic Shield (just useless) and Beacon of course (totally useless).

I'm still only in LM, almost to GM, and I play a very unfocused build doing PvP, PvE, crafting, soloing, small grouping, magic, melee, archery, etc. I use, in order of frequency
100% of adventures - MM, Heal Self - the most because no regeants, most generically useful.
50% of adventures - Eldritch Sphere, Lay on Hands - I've got enough regeants stocked up, so when I remember, I usually go out with 10 sulfur, and if I'm grouping, I'll grab 5 resin. Eldritch Sphere is a faster projectile with higher damage and less AoE so it's safer in groups. I'm really enjoying using it. LoH is a good down time reducer in a group situation and also a decent way of reducing aggro with other players in the area.
25% of adventures - Magic Shield - When I'm fighting casters, I find that this actually does improve my defense over the course of a battle. With this buff up, I can melee longer against mobs with caster units than I can without it.
10% of adventures - Magic Ward - This and shield have long cast times and short durations, so it's tough to time it right such that I can get myself and a teammate buffed before the bloodshed AND have it last until the end of the battle. I usually Shield myself but if I'm letting a teammate tank while I plink with my bow, I'll Ward the tank.
And that's where I'm at with magic. I'm actually finding that's magic is REALLY well balanced and not hating on it at all. The variety is useful though not expansive at low levels, and the damage seems to be in a sweet spot that works for me. ::shrug::
