Easiest way to get Mandrake?

Hello all,

Looking to get into air magic and I'm sick to death of herb gathering. It's tedious and incredibly slow. So I'm looking for the easiest mob that can be soloed that drops mandrake in a reasonable pile.

Any suggestions on where and what I should be hunting?

Akathar (sp?) drop 7 a piece and are pretty common and quite easy. Could take out a couple naked before you have to run. Spawn in gorups of four like everything else. Often found near windlords though that are significantly harder.

Just get gold and buy mandrake. You will probably have to by from a vendor because players never have enough. You can make 500-1000g in an hour without issue and that is 250-500 mandrake an hour from the vendor. Same really goes for any magic. You are not going to be able to support your casting though loot and gather only. You are going to have buy them from players or vendors. Magic is very expensive to use. With air magic i can use 500g in reagents inside of an hour without really trying.

Where are these windlords? I wasn't even aware NPC vendors sold mandrake! How much per reagent?

And I haven't really found any good place that I can make that much money in an hour of solo. Any ideas?

Mandrake is pretty cheap to buy , so just farm gold and buy from npc/players.
