weapon question

ok i have noticed for each rank of weapon there are about 3 or so different weaps for it.the stats for all these are nearly all the same but usually one has a little more damage. my question is: if there is say a Rank 30 sword with higher damage output than another rank 30 sword, would the less damage one be faster at all? i use 2h's, so is there a high damage 2h and a 2h more for speed in every rank? if not i think there should be cuz that would be kool and would let people play more to there style.
