question for the devs

i know this has probably bean asked before but its the only reason i signed up for the forums in the first place

ok iv bean watching this game for quite some time
well ever since the NGE hit swg

and this game seems to be promising everything i want in an mmo
in fact its the only one that offers some of the things i look for in an mmo since swg was lobotomized
witch is all good and i would have very high hopes for this game if it wasnt for one HUGE GAME SHATTERING detail

nothing ruins a game for me like forced pvp does
weather i win or lose i just dont like pvp at all what so ever i despise pvp and the immature behaviour that usually comes with it

so this leads me to ask my question

if enough of us want it is there any chance what so ever that you would be willing to give us a non-pvp server ????

I'm going to tell you right now that Darkfall is based on PvP, almost everything revolves around it. As much as I like this game, the PvE is simply not good enough (or shall I say not focused enough) to make it worth hosting a stand alone server with no PvP. I'm not a developer but I can almost guarantee that there simply won't be a PvE server because the population would be too low. If there ever will be one, it would be a while before one would come out.

actuly just started wow for your information dont like it much but will suffice till a decent mmo comes out lol :P

SWG before the NGE was the ideal game for me
but this being the only hope of ever seeing something like that again
tells me its going to be a while before i see anything near as decent an mmo
in fact its come to the point ware i am starting to lose all hope for a decent well thought out mmo all together

it just dosnt offer enough

You're in the wrong universe of thought. This game is about nothing but pvp. There's pve alright, but that's not the purpose of this game.

mabye the pve sucks in this game. They don't think enough people will be interested in the pve aspect for it to be worth having a pve server.

Sorry, the devs have already answered this question. They don't want to water down their game with different rulesets, and take away the freedom they were looking for. A PvE server is not on the way.
